With the Effort-o-Meter, it is possible to check a Pokémon's stats through the graph on the Super Training main menu screen. Many Pokémon have stats that grow more easily than others, and stats that take more time to grow than others. The inner green part of the Effort-o-Meter's graph shows stat levels related to the Pokémon's base stats, while the outer yellow portion shows Effort Values.

Secret Super Training is only accessible to Fully Trained Pokémon. There is only one regimen in Level 4, there are four regimens in Level 5, four in Level 6, three in Level 7 and one in Level 8. Many of these Secret Super-Training Regimens involve Circuit Training, which means battling more than one Balloon Bot. After defeating each Balloon Bot (except the final one), 30 seconds are added to "time remaining".

There are two levels of Secret Super Training. These are unlocked if the selected Pokémon is Fully Trained, meaning that their [[Effort value]] total is at the maximum. There is only one regimen in Level 4, there are four regimens in Level 5, four in Level 6, three in Level 7 and one in Level 8. Many of these Secret Training regimens involve battling more than one Pokémon. If the player battles more than one Pokémon, 30 seconds are added to "time remaining" between Pokémon.
Unlike in regular Super-Training Regimens where each rank of regimens are unlocked at once, each Secret Super-Training Regimen is unlocked sequentially.

In Secret Super Training, if the player achieves the target time, they will also receive an item as a reward, in addition to a training bag. The more the target time is beaten by, the more likely the player is to receive a rare item.

Achieving the target time in all Super-Training and Secret Super-Training Regimens makes the Pokémon a Supremely Trained Pokémon.
