Hey. Here to nag ya. There are still quite a few protected move pages, so... The ones I feel comfortable enough to create are: {{m|Shell Blade}}, {{m|Waterlog}}, {{m|Gear Saucer}}, {{m|Coil Around}} and {{m|Devastate}}. I think I can also create the Oaths, but I'm not certain about their combos... I don't know if there's an order in which they have to be used to do the combos and if their powers change when doing so. Also, there are user pages for [[User:Lilkaykaygal/Nitro_Charge_%28move%29|Nitro Charge]] (which is pretty complete) and [[User:PsychicRider/Boiling_Water_(move)|Boiling Water]] (which still needs the TM listing). If these could be moved to the mainspace, I could finish them, but I don't really know the policy. Thanks.  [[User:Mr. Charlie|<font color="#000000">'''Mr. Charlie'''</font>]]<small>([[User_Talk:Mr. Charlie|<font color="#0000FF">''TalkToMe''</font>]])</small> 22:30, 30 September 2010 (UTC)

: I'm not Maverick Nate, but you can still tag the page to be deleted on your own and an administrator will take care of it for you. Just put <code><nowiki>{{delete}}</nowiki></code> at the top of that page. If you want to see what the delete page tag looks like, head [[Template:Delete|here]]. Once that tag is up, an admin will know that you want that page to be deleted, and they will help you out. Well, but there is still link correcting and the issue of server stress. I'm afraid that the Pedia will have to be closed anyways. Though, I'm not '''that''' into Wikis, so maybe there is a way to eliminate the need of closure. However, there is still the second part of my protest - major votings should be issued on Bulbapedia. --[[User:Maxim|Maxim]] 19:19, 13 November 2010 (UTC)
== Aiding in TCG images ==
Hey there Maverick, I noticed a lot of the card pages still use images of the Japanese cards. Being a collector the the cards, I have thousands and would be willing to provide English versions of whatever cards I've got. Is that an issue with Project TCG or does it really matter whether or not the card on the page is in English or Japanese? Lemme know what I could do to help. =) Thanks! :It does not matter which image we use, however, we get English images whenever we can. == Images ==
I apologize, although I know at least some of the images I added were actually taken from Amazon; I can't say where Amazon got their pictures from, but I assumed that images on such a major site would be (a) not stolen, and (b) general publicity images (unless otherwise stated).  One of them was taken from a Google image search; that's probably the one in question.  I was just trying to add information on something that's been out for a long time now, and yet had no mention on Bulbapedia.  I realize that the release of Black and White has made things difficult for everyone on the wiki, but I hope you'll agree that the rest of the wiki shouldn't be ignored. It seemed information on recent TCG releases was lacking.  Regardless of this particular issue, I sincerely hope that in the future such actions will not be necessary, and that Pokemon fan sites will work with each other instead of against each other.  In closing, I was not trying to steal anything, and I hope you don't believe otherwise.  Thanks. -[[User:Unknownwarrior33|Unknownwarrior33]] 05:10, 17 November 2010 (UTC)
:Further note: the current picture of the tins is, in my opinion, not very good; it hides the bottoms of the tins and is completely different from all the other pictures on that page.  I think the image here: http://www.amazon.com/Pokemon-Fall-Collectors-Suicune-Sleeves/dp/B004433QA0 is better, and has no watermark that I can see.  Is there no way to use that image in place of the current one?  Thanks, -[[User:Unknownwarrior33|Unknownwarrior33]] 05:50, 17 November 2010 (UTC)

== Hm? ==
I fail to see what problem the Kingdra disambiguation was causing.  IIRC, the consensus on the forums was to create disambigs for Pokémon simply to link to their TCG articles because there's ''no reason not to''.  Since I know you were vehemently opposed to that for some reason, I'm not going to push the point.  However, the only way for a user to access the {{TCG|Kingdra archetype}} article by typing in "Kingdra" is to scroll all the way down to the TCG section, then find the link hidden in the text on [[Kingdra (TCG)]].  I think most people would agree that that's far too much time for a user to waste, especially when pages load as slowly as they do.  Also, your reasoning for deleting it seems misguided... for instance, let's take {{p|Politoed}}.  All the items in the disambig are linked to, and prominently so, within the species article.  The Kingdra archetype article isn't even included in the Kingdra species article, so why would we not include it in the disambig?  To put appearances of a Pokémon for the manga and anime on a disambig, when those are featured on the species page, but not to do the same for an archetypes seems like a double standard.  Hmm?  --[[User:Politoed666|<span style="color:#00B7EB">''P''</span> <span style="color:#008080">''o''</span>]] [[User talk:Politoed666|<span style="color:#0095B6">''L''</span> <span style="color:#00CCCC">''i''</span>]] 20:39, 22 November 2010 (UTC)
:There is a Table of Contents on every page for that reason. Instant link to every section on the page. Since scrolling is not the only way to get there, I find your point, rather incorrect. We aren't creating pages to drive people away from a page that already features it. ::Yeah, but... first off, the Kingdra archetype article ''isn't'' already featured on the species page.  Secondly... shouldn't we delete [[Politoed (disambiguation)]], since [[Misty's Politoed]], [[Polibo]], and [[Politoed (TCG)]] (the only items included in the disambig) are already featured in the species article?  --[[User:Politoed666|<span style="color:#00B7EB">''P''</span> <span style="color:#008080">''o''</span>]] [[User talk:Politoed666|<span style="color:#0095B6">''L''</span> <span style="color:#00CCCC">''i''</span>]] 20:45, 22 November 2010 (UTC)

== Dubious BW Screenshots ==
I'm not sure if this should be brought up on your talk page or DoTheWave's talk page first, but this is more of an Archives rules question than an "OMG how did you get these?!?" question, so I'll start here.  The files "StatsBW.png", "Shouro's PC BW.png", and (the current version of) "Nickname.png" show what appear to be screenshots from the English version of Black & White.  As it seems highly unlikely that anyone would have these screenshots yet, and even more unlikely that Yorterry's English name would be "YOOTERII" (especially considering that the "Pokémon names in all caps" convention is reportedly finally going to die in BW), these images are most likely faked.  Even if all DoTheWave (the uploader) did was edit screenshots from the Japanese version, are these images allowed to be on the Archives or [[Stats|used]] [[Nickname|in]] [[PC|articles]]?  --[[User:Minimiscience|Minimiscience]] 02:18, 13 December 2010 (UTC)

== Pokemon TCG Slang/Terminology ==
Long story short I stumbled across the Shuppet Donk deck article and realized the term "donk" isn't defined on this site.  It is used in a few articles, but any links in those articles just lead to an empty page asking you to create it.  So I did.  Then it got deleted because the person in question hadn't ever heard the term.
My more broad question is if there is some page of Pokemon slang/terminology that might be appropriate to list such things on.  I couldn't find one.  One of the big hurdles when reading an article is when the writer uses a lot of what they assume to be common terminology, or worse '''misuses''' it.  Like TecH.
Thanks.

== Tornelos Translations - Seriously. This isn't funny at all. ==
Hi,
It might have happened that you thought I took the translations from another website, so you deleted the page about a TCG card. Well, now I'm angry, because the BW cards now have 'tentens' (hiraganas over kanjis) so I can now read kanji without any difficulties (unlike the older sets), can now easily translate a whole card, but gets accused of copying them!? My results of translating might be very close to other websites doing translations, too, but there's an extremely high chance Pokemon USA is going to have the same translations as mine, or other websites. Just because two translations are similar doesn't mean I'm stealing, y'a know...[[User:TokoyamiTheDark|TokoyamiTheDark]] 10:25, 22 December 2010 (UTC)
:Well, what am I supposed to believe? You used Gale Force, PokéBeach used Gale Force. Even though here on this website, the translations for new moves that '''''we''''' are using must be the ones used. The name here is {{m|Hurricane}}, nothing else. Your attack translations also are the only place on the page that lack the é, and the hidden text for when the card references itself is not there, which is something that WPM is known for also not doing. You may be telling the truth, but the evidence stacks up against you. ::I understand. I have been learning Japanese since more than 2 years, and my Japanese teacher told me that the name 'Houfuu (蓬風) literally means 'a wind with extremely strong powers, usualy the force of a gale'. However, I can't type 'é' without copying the symbol. It's ok, but I don't understand the "hidden text when the card references itself wasn't there", something that you said WPM forget to add or do. But I was doing the translations on my own, and I now understand what you first thought. Anyone could have though the same. It's OK. I learned this new Flying type move,{{m|Hurricane}}, a move I didn't even knew it existed. well... thanks again![[User:TokoyamiTheDark|TokoyamiTheDark]] 17:07, 22 December 2010 (UTC)

== Super Rare Black/White Collection Pikachu scan! ==
Hi,
I just received an e-mail from one of my website's main visitors, Yankuri, and he kindly gave me the scan of the Super-Rare Pikachu from both Black and White Collection sets! Therefore, I created a page of this card in both Black and White lists. Oddly enough, even if I couldn't fully translate the Pokédex entry, it doesn't comes from any of the Video Games, but rather say that "you got lucky for 'catching' this card", since it is the rarest of the entire set.I'm sure this will help BulbaPedia a lot. As for me, I'm getting my Booster Boxes near the end of February, so when I'll get my scans, I'll upload them here, so be looking forward to it![[User:TokoyamiTheDark|TokoyamiTheDark]] 22:02, 22 December 2010 (UTC)
== Just a thought ==
Since Trainers and Energy with the same name are treated as the same card, what about renaming all Trainers and Energy with a common suffix?
For example, Great Ball (TCG) or Great Ball (Trainer card).  [[User:Substy|Substy]] 07:53, 24 December 2010 (UTC)
:Unless it could be applied to everything that acts that way, we can't do it. {{TCG ID|Diamond & Pearl|Chimchar|76}} was released 6 different times, but we won't be moving it to {{TCG|Chimchar}}. I like the current system, and I personally don't want it to be changed. Sorry. All the redirects should point to the where the page is anyway. == Ghostly Protection ==
I understand that you protected [[Literal ghost]] from being moved due to conflicts on its movements. Discussion on the talk page of the article has restarted and though Werdnae (a sysop) and SnorlaxMonster ( a jr. sysop) have agreed to the movement, it can't be move due to that protection. Since you are part of the extended Editorial Board your opinion would probably best Werdnae, LaxMon, and mine on whether it should be moved or not. --[[User:Landfish7|<span style="font-family:Tahoma;background:black"><font color="red">'''Land'''</font>]][[User talk:Landfish7|<span style="font-family:Tahoma;background:black"><small><font color="yellow">'''fish7'''</font></small></span></span>]]''' 00:35, 29 December 2010 (UTC)
