:Pomegranate has nothing to do with types. Characters in the Japanese versions are named after plants. Since Clemont has "lemon" in it and Viola keeps her Japanese name, it's obvious that they are trying to keep the theme, sort of. Granite is likely, but until we know his specialized type, we can't just assume the origin. It'll be added once we know it.
