:It doesn't always work like that. The Isshu dex may have Pokémon that are already known, like how Magikarp and Gyarados are found in the Sinnoh dex. Since they're already in the National dex, the Sinnoh dex doesn't match up exactly with the National dex. The same probably goes for Isshu, so we'll just have to wait until we know exactly what it is. Okay I know we don't have any info on the evolutions of Chiramii but couldn't we say something like "It Is Unknown Wether This Pokemon Can Evolve Or Not" not something like giving it only one stage and saying its "Unevolved". The first time I saw it I was like "WHAAATTTTTT???!!!!!!" It could cause confusion to other people who don't know and Pokemon besides freakin' Pikachu. And remeber peoples, CHIRAMII IS SPELLED WITH ONE A, NOT TWO, ONE. ONE A. NOT TWO, ONE. ONNNNNEEEEEEE. [[User:Sorou|NEOgreenSOROU]] 12:19, 20 July 2010 (UTC)

:Well, that template is there to show that is has no confirmed evolutions or pre-evolutions. I don't really like having it there, but I do see why it should be there. I don't know why it would be so confusing to people who don't know Pokémon besides Pikachu. Finally, it is not spelled anywhere on the article with two 'A's, so I don't see why you are making a point of this. --[[User:SnorlaxMonster|<span style="color:#A70000">'''Snorlax'''</span>]][[User talk:SnorlaxMonster|<span style="color:#0000A7">'''Monster'''</span>]] 12:43, 20 July 2010 (UTC)

::I'm just saying if a person stumbled upon this site somehow and saw that at first glance that Chiramii was not evolved because of our limited info they might think that Chiramii was a one-evolution pokemon he/she might go out and tell his/her friends and bam you've got a group of people with the wrong info. The way that its presented it just confusing, that's all. So I was wondering if we could make it ''less'' confusing. And also if you type in "Chiraamii" or "Chiramii" in the search bar it leads to the same page, there's a similar problem with "Zoroa"/"Zorua". However for that case we have an evolution so I think it should be "Zoroa" to go along with "Zoroa"rk(Zoroark). I know that this will all be fixed when the english comes out but for now I'm just trying to make everything less confusing. [[User:Sorou|NEOgreenSOROU]] 13:00, 20 July 2010 (UTC)

::::Exactally just do that, but even then its the wrong spelling and is giving you something else. But still, what else can a person mean if they type in "Chiraamii"? XD [[User:Sorou|NEOgreenSOROU]] 15:08, 21 July 2010 (UTC)
:::::If someone searches for "Chiraamii", they will be redirected to "Chiramii". This is so that someone who has romanised the name differently can still locate the page with the correct spelling.
:::::As for the presentation of the information, I don't believe it's misleading. We just don't know, so it's better to show it as a singular, unevolved Pokémon until we know otherwise. {{p|Munna}}'s page said "unevolved" before we knew it evolved into {{p|Musharna}} because... we didn't know. I know that pages such as {{p|Tauros}} have the line "It is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon", though I think with the pages for new Pokémon nobody's bothered because new information is revealed every 5 minutes. --[[User:Zesty Cactus|<span style="color:#006400">'''Zesty'''</span>]][[User talk:Zesty Cactus|<span style="color:#3CB371">'''Cactus'''</span>]] 15:53, 21 July 2010 (UTC)
:::::Also, think back to [[Generation II]]. When {{p|Togepi}} was revealed, did people assume it was an evolved Pokémon or that it would evolve? No, we had no idea, so pretty much every source (like [[The Official Pokémon Handbook]]) just presented it as a single Pokémon. We're doing the same thing. --[[User:Zesty Cactus|<span style="color:#006400">'''Zesty'''</span>]][[User talk:Zesty Cactus|<span style="color:#3CB371">'''Cactus'''</span>]] 15:53, 21 July 2010 (UTC)

== Sweep Binta ==
[http://www.filb.de/1353 Filb.de] has video of Chiramii using a move called スイープビンタ ''Sweep Binta'' on Munna. ''Binta'' translates as "slap in the face". So my guess is this will likely be translated as "Sweep Slap", and it appears to be a multi-hit move.--[[User:Phantomjunkie|<span style="color:red">Phantom</span>]][[User talk:Phantomjunkie|<span style="color:black">Junkie</span>]] 08:20, 23 July 2010 (UTC)
== Chillarmy ==
From Serebii
<blockquote>The Japanese Trademark database has been updated with a few new trademarks for the Japanese names of the Pokémon. As always, most recently seen with Victini this weekend, the Pokémon get their Japanese names as well as an official romanisation, being the Japanese name stated in English. Usually, we just include the literal translation of the names until we get the romanisation. Well, today we have received the official romanisation for the Pokémon Chiramii (チラーミィ). It's official romanisation is Chillarmy, derived from Chinchilla and army.</blockquote>

== Army ==
It's just as based on "army" as Himanuts is based on "nuts", Dirteng is based on "dirt" and Dogohmb is based on... nevermind. Don't trust trademarked Romaji. It's just a pile of stupid Engrish. --[[User:Maxim|Maxim]] 20:22, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
:This, sorta. I honestly doubt it is a combination of chinchilla and army. I mean, how exactly does army come into place? According to its translated Pokédex entry, it has nothing in common with troops or anything. I seriously doubt it's 'army'. I think it's possibly a corruption or a shorter form of a different word. And for the record, how do we pronounce its name again? [[User:Rai Marshall|Rai Marshall]] 20:25, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
::CHEE RA MEE. Dirteng's definitely a combination of dirt and tengu, though. Its feet and nose indicate that much. '''[[User:TTEchidna|<span style="color:#FF0000">''TTE''</span>]][[User talk:TTEchidna|chidna]]''' 20:29, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
:::Not so much, it's way more likely based on "dark" than "dirt". And also, that -u from "tengu" is gone for no reason, which also obscures the meaning. So still, it doesn't change my point at all. Trademarked Romaji aren't really the "correct" Romaji. They're just used on merch, that's all. They are often made of Engrish and fail to convey the intended meaning (like "Prasle" for Plusle). I don't really see how would Chillarmy be related to army. It doesn't wear a uniform or anything. -army is just an Anglicized phonetic spelling of -aamyi, which probably has some Japanese etymology (or is just some kind of sound effect). "Army" doesn't make any kind of sense. --[[User:Maxim|Maxim]] 20:45, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
::::I took it to come from the faux word "Charmy" or something. Or just "Charm" with a -y. Makes sense when you consider it has Cute Charm. [[User:M190049|'''''~m190049''''']][[User talk:M190049|'''''~talk''''']] 22:38, 27 July 2010 (UTC)

::::::::I'm convinced on charm, as it fits it unlike army. Could an admin edit the Name Origin then? [[User:Rai Marshall|Rai Marshall]] 23:20, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
:::::::::Why can't we put something like "The name is likely based on chinchilla and charmy.  It is also possible that it is derived from army", or something like that.  It's been done in some other name origins, since charmy doesnt sound right, and army doesn't fit with Chillarmy. I don't mean to interrupt, but it shows '(Japanese: チラーミィ Chillarmy) is a Normal-type Pokémon introduced in Generation V.' which states Chillarmy's Japanese name is the latter, when it is actually: Chiramii is the Japanese Name, whereas Chillarmy is the Romanization, a.k.a English name. -Naruruler12
:Please sign your talk page comments with four tildes, <nowiki>~~~~</nowiki>. Also, Chillarmy doesn't yet have an official English name; that is the trademarked romanization that has been trademarked by Game Freak in the Japanese Patent Office. Basically, it's Gamefreak telling us how the Japanese name is ''meant to be'' pronounced, rather than how the katakana would literally be pronounced. Every Pokémon in Generations I through IV is the same way. You can see all of the trademarked romanizations on the [[List of Japanese Pokémon names]]. --[[User:Phantomjunkie|<span style="color:red">Phantom</span>]][[User talk:Phantomjunkie|<span style="color:black">Junkie</span>]] 14:36, 13 August 2010 (UTC)
== Gender Ratio ==
I have a question about Chillarmy's and its evo's gender ratio as to whether it is actually 75% female and 25% male. Has this actually been proven to be true as it seemed that they were a 50-50% ratio when I was playing white (numerous males appeared). I also feel to bring this up as it seems that Chillarmy and its evo doesn't look that feminine as much as well in my opinion. Therefore, I was just wondering if it is actually confirmed that this is the ratio? -Cadet Furret 21:48, 30 September 2010 (UTC)
