A Cleaner (Japanese: せいそういん Cleaner) is a type of Trainer class introduced in Generation V. They are old men dressed in green janitor outfits and holding mops. They could be considered a male counterpart of Maids.

Despite being cleaners, they tend to use Pokémon that represent filth, such as Yabukuron and Koffing, as well as Pokémon that love to clean, such as Minccino. They mainly use Poison-type Pokémon.
