'''Jigglypuff's Song''' (Japanese: '''プリンのうた''' ''{{tt|Purin|Jigglypuff}}'s Song'') is the eighth and final episode of [[POKÉTOON]]. It was first released in Japan on the official [[Pokémon Kids TV]] YouTube channel on December 28, 2021 and was released on [[Pokémon TV]] on August 5, 2022, and on [[The Pokémon Company International]]'s official English [[YouTube]] channel on August 25, 2022.

==Blurb==
<i>A shy Jigglypuff realizes its song isn’t like the songs from other Jigglypuff. With a little help from a friend, will it be able to gain the confidence to share its song with the world?</i>

==Plot==
In voiceover narration, [[Peaches]] recounts how she met her [[Jigglypuff]] in the park. Jigglypuff, who has unusually spiky hair, is sitting against a tree, crying. When Peaches asks what's wrong, Jigglypuff begins crying harder. Peaches offers to play with Jigglypuff and introduces herself. The two play ball, draw together, and sleep in bed together. The two become friends, even like family.

One day, while the two are discussing what game to play, [[Alba]] encounters them, noticing that Peaches also has a Jigglypuff. Alba teases Peaches's Jigglypuff's hair for being "weird". Peaches defends her Jigglypuff, saying Jigglypuff's hair is "cute". Alba shrugs it off and insists that her Jigglypuff is cuter, then tells her Jigglypuff to [[Sing (move)|sing]]. Alba's Jigglypuff sings, which amazes Peaches. Peaches's Jigglypuff, however, seems sad. Peaches says that she didn't know Jigglypuff could sing, which confuses Alba. After all, Peaches has a Jigglypuff. Peaches tells her Jigglypuff to sing too, but Jigglypuff is nervous. It runs off crying, and Peaches runs after it.

It's sunset, and Jigglypuff is sitting on a rock alone. It remembers a time when it saw a group of Jigglypuff singing together in the woods. It tried to join in, but its song was very different. It frightened the others, and that in turn hurt Jigglypuff's confidence, and it ran away in tears.

Back in the present, Peaches finally catches up to Jigglypuff. She notices Jigglypuff is crying, and she reassures it that it doesn't have to sing if it doesn't want to.

The next day, as the two are walking, Jigglypuff promises to Peaches that it won't run off again. Alba calls out to the two, bragging that her Jigglypuff can sing even better now, which Jigglypuff demonstrates. Peaches's Jigglypuff is saddened by this. When Alba asks if Peaches's Jigglypuff still won't sing, Peaches whispers to Jigglypuff that it doesn't have to sing if it doesn't want to. Alba mocks Peaches for this, saying that Jigglypuff won't sing because it doesn't like Peaches. Peaches starts crying, which triggers a flashback in Jigglypuff of all the times Peaches was a good friend. Peaches eventually says that Jigglypuff is her friend, and Jigglypuff finally gains the confidence to sing again. Alba and her Jigglypuff are shocked, but when Peaches's Jigglypuff looks back at Peaches, she's in awe at Jigglypuff's singing. Jigglypuff finds even more confidence and sings with pride. The performance amazes Peaches, and when the performance is done and the two hug, Peaches says she could tell how much Jigglypuff loved her when she was singing.

Some time has passed, and Jigglypuff is singing to Alba, her Jigglypuff, and Peaches. In a voiceover, Peaches says that Jigglypuff has been singing every day ever since, and Alba loves it. Peaches does note, however, that Jigglypuff's voice has the ability to make others [[Sleep (status condition)|fall asleep]]. Jigglypuff pauses its performance to see its audience of three fast asleep. The short ends with Jigglypuff tilting its head in confusion.
