Template documentation
Note: portions of the template sample may not be visible without values provided.

This template is to be used on episode pages.

Usage

Template fields

  • colorscheme - Name of a color scheme (not a color hex code). This will be passed to Template:Colorschemedark and Template:Colorschemelight.
  • epcode - The epicode of this episode.
    • altepcode - Alternative epicode, usually corresponding to a total episode count across multiple series. For example, AG001 has the alternate epicode EP275, continued after EP274.
  • screenshot - Name of the screenshot file to be used as the image header. Must be in png format (do not include ".png" in the input). If none is provided, defaults to a png file named after the epicode. If there's no epicode either, defaults to a message that no picture is available.
  • title_en - The English title of this episode. If none is provided, the epicode is displayed by default.
  • title_ja - The Japanese title of the episode, in Japanese text.
  • title_ja_trans - A translation of the Japanese title of the episode.
  • release_method - The method of release. This field is generally used for web-distributed anime, which uses the input "Web release". If not provided, defaults to "First broadcast".
  • broadcast_us - The episode's English release date.
  • broadcast_jp - The episode's Japanese release date.
  • en_op - The episode's English opening theme.
  • en_ed (optional) - The episode's English ending theme, if it has one.
  • ja_op - The episode's Japanese opening theme.
  • ja_ed - The episode's Japanese ending theme.
  • footnotes (optional) - Footnotes about the episode. This is generally used for external links, such as: review threads on the Bulbagarden forums, screenshots on Filb.de, or videos on Pokémon's official YouTube channels.

Credits fields

For credits of people's names, write the name in the original credited language (example: if the person is originally credited in Japanese text, then write their name in Japanese text, don't convert it to Romanized text.)

The infobox will attempt to pass all names to Romanization templates, formatted like "Template:Romanization/name". If a person has never been credited before, then they won't yet have a Romanization template, and one must then be created for them. For a list of all existing Romanization templates, see Category:Romanization templates.
