Welcome to Bulbapedia, Wild Starfish!

By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Signing

When leaving a talk page comment, you only need to sign your comment once. Please don't place multiple signatures after your comment. You only need to add ~~~~ (a total of four characters) to sign your message. If you're not sure how many signatures you have left, you can always use the Preview button to make sure. --SnorlaxMonster 04:00, 29 February 2020 (UTC)

This is a reminder that when leaving a signature, only ONE signature is needed, not two or more. Thank you. Frozen Fennec 19:20, 26 March 2020 (UTC)

Talk page commets

Please don't respond to talk page comments that are over six months old, as the section may have already been resolved or the user that started the discussion may no longer be around to see your comment, making your comment pointless. Thank you.--ForceFire 18:12, 20 March 2020 (UTC)

Creating discussions

Hey there. If you want to start a discussion, don't repeat the same discussion across multiple talk pages, like you did with the expansion pack talk pages, it comes off as spamming. Instead, choose a talk page you feel is more appropriate and wait for a response. Thank you.--ForceFire 07:10, 22 March 2020 (UTC)

Talk page etiquette

Hi there. Per the Talk page policy, please do not edit other user's messages like you did here. I imagine you wouldn't like others going around and changing the content of your messages, so please allow other users the same respect. ArcToraphim has asked you to stop, please do not change it again. Thank you. --Pokemaster97 21:36, 24 March 2020 (UTC)

i'm just updating japanese names to english ones which doesn't change the meaning of them Wild Starfish (talk) 00:38, 25 March 2020 (UTC)

Block

When staff attempts to give you directions, you are expected to comply more or less reasonably. We don't expect everyone to be happy in every situation, but adding dozens upon dozens of signatures, and saying "[I'm] adding too many signatures just to spite you fyi", is not remotely acceptable.

You have been told, in edit summaries and here on your talk page, not to edit other people's comments, and yet you went back and re-did your edits anyway. You've also been told to only sign your talk page comments once and I believe you've violated this in every comment since.

When you come back from your block, we hope you will pick back up as a respectful member of the Bulbapedia community. Frankly, if this attitude continues very long, I don't expect we will have a great amount of patience. Tiddlywinks (talk) 01:20, 25 March 2020 (UTC)

Talk page policy

Just one signature per talk page post is enough. That's how everyone does it. No more, no less. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 19:47, 26 March 2020 (UTC)
