Stadium 2 Mystery Gift
FYI I found that these 28 numbers resulted in an uncommon decoration for Stadium 2's Mystery Gift. This disagreed with what you originally wrote, so I'm just leaving this in case you can identify any errors that still need fixing.

Hello Tiddlywinks,
It's actually a bit more complex than that.
The game first determines a random item, then a random decoration.
The number of RNG updates when determining the random item is 2 (for common items which occurs if RNG >= 25) or 3 (for uncommon, rare, very rare items).
This means that there are even less possibilities when reaching the random decoration function. It is impossible for the first RNG value picked in the decoration function to be 10, 20, 25, 30.
Cycle: ...24,151,10,225...
If the first RNG value picked in the item function is 24, RNG is 225 at the start of decoration function (+3 RNG updates). If the first RNG value picked in the item function is 151, RNG is also 225 at the start of decoration function (+2 RNG updates). The value 10 is skipped.
The probabilities in my original post were correct and had been tested with the actual code. See https://pastebin.com/psahTLEJ
Could you please revert the page back to its original probabilities? Thanks. RainingChain (talk) 12:22, 11 September 2023 (UTC)
- Yup, thanks for the clarification. Tiddlywinks (talk) 13:23, 11 September 2023 (UTC)
