Welcome to Bulbapedia, Pory Here!

By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Multiple edits

I've noticed you making numerous consecutive edits to the Sandbox, can I suggest instead of making multiple edits you edit the whole page at once whilst using the preview button to check your edits before submitting.--BigDocFan, Junior Admin Bulbapedia (talk) 20:29, 22 January 2024 (UTC)

Talk page policy and signing

Per the talk page policy, comments should not be edited or deleted, unless deemed appropriate by a staff member. It's generally okay to fix a typo that you can't live with, or the like, but any additional content should be added as a separate comment with its own signature and timestamp. Note that you can automatically sign your posts by adding four tildes (~~~~) to the end of your comment, or by pressing the signature button   in the editing toolbar. Feel free to ask me or another staff member if you have any questions. Thank you. Landfish7 14:37, 23 January 2024 (UTC)

If merely adding to my own unresponded unhandled request, I see no reason not to simply edit the original comment. It seems to me to be more user-friendly to do so. Pory Here (talk) 15:02, 23 January 2024 (UTC)
All comments should have an accurate timestamp so that the discussion can be followed easily. Editing a comment with new information renders the timestamp incorrect. Landfish7 15:31, 23 January 2024 (UTC)
