Breeding learnsnet
Next time you add a move to the breeding section of a Pokémon's learnsnet, try to avoid adding moves that a Pokémon can learn via level-up. Level-up moves can be passed down, yes, but if both parents know it, and the move is passed down, that doesn't necessarily make it an egg move. The section is usually there to mention what moves the Pokémon can only obtain from breeding. You can read up here if you need more info. Also, if adding a learnsnet table, make sure to add the appropriate footer, so it prevents the table from spilling over and affecting the page contents after it. Take care! Berrenta, First time editor here! Sorry for not knowing the correct footers and things; I was trying to figure out how to set up that section (there previously was nothing under breeding) based off of looking at other pages. I would love it if there were at least something in the table, even if it's a move that can be learned by leveling, as I think having one move there already increases the odds that another person will come in and edit it.- unsigned comment from Dharlette (talk • contribs)
- Hey, no need to worry; it's normal not to know right away how things work. Even though I have been editing for a year, I'm still learning about how certain templates work, though I got some down. If you need help, let one of us editors know. ^_^ Berrenta (talk) 02:51, 8 November 2013 (UTC)
- About that undo that I did earlier...well I checked the Rollout page, and Rollout is indeed an egg move as well as a level-up move for Chespin, as the mother did not have to know it, so I undid my edit and added the Pokémon that can pass it down to Chespin. Please accept my apologies. Berrenta (talk) 17:49, 9 November 2013 (UTC)
