Welcome

Welcome to Bulbapedia, Bian!

Here are a few links to help you get started:

The Manual of Style, or MoS, outlines the format of all pages on Bulbapedia.

Our friendly team of staff are here to help! Talk to them if you have any questions or problems with Bulbapedia.

On talk pages, please sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~), or by using the "Your signature with a timestamp" (button_sig.png) button at the top of the edit window.

On Bulbapedia, the ability to edit personal userpages is a privilege. Per our userpage policy, this must be earned by first making constructive edits to the mainspace. Once you can, remember to keep userspace edits (edits to User:Bian) to a minimum.

For a complete list of policies and editing advice, please see the Welcome Portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

You

As a Wiki, we don't allow the usage of the word you to describe a scene in a game, we use the player instead. Saying "the player" is more accurate and professional, saying you isn't. The usage of You" can be used in our Walkthroughs though.--ForceFire 11:51, 3 November 2010 (UTC)

One more thing..

Do you have the Japanese games to prove the edits you have done, just making sure.--ForceFire 12:11, 3 November 2010 (UTC)

  • I still didn't have a game, but a friend of mine gave me a link to a site which provides the English translation (not official, just someone who has knowledge in Japanese language) of all the in-game texts in Pokemon Black and White . Link Templates

Link Templates are a vital part of Bulbapedia. Use {{p|Nidoking}} instead of [[Nidoking (Pokémon)|Nidoking]]. Use {{m|Metal Claw}} instead of [[Metal Claw (move)|Metal Claw}}. For a full crash course on Link templates go here.--ForceFire 10:14, 3 December 2011 (UTC)
