5X weakness

- Jynx with Dry Skin affected by Forest's Curse also has a 5x weakness, and plenty of other Pokemon can have bigger-than-5x weaknesses via Forest's Curse. It isn't notable. See Talk:Paras (Pokémon)#Weakness. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 14:25, 17 June 2017 (UTC)
Paecilomyces cicadae etc.
The origin section of both Paras and Parasect discuss entomopathogenic fungi, but neither mention any of the real-world species that actually attack cicada nymphs. These include Paecilomyces cicadae, Cordyceps cicadae and Isaria cicadae, all of which are also harvested as medicinal mushrooms. Whereas a healthy cicada nymph would emerge from the ground and molt into an adult, nymphs affected by these die in the soil and a mushroom emerges instead.Scythemantis (talk) 16:36, 25 February 2021 (UTC)
