With Lechon being based on an Iberian Black pig, wouldn't it also make sense to point out how Iberian pigs are well renowned for their meat? Iberico ham and pork are world-renowned, so it'd explain why they'd try and fatten it up - unsigned comment from Toffolus (talk • contribs)
- There hasn't been any mention of Lechonk being harvested by humans, though; meat or otherwise. So, no i don't think it needs to be mentioned. (Unlike, say, Wyrdeer; the lore has stated that its fur is gathered by people to make clothing, like the real life Yezo sika deer, hence its origin description). Piggy bank
I disagree with the fact that "piggy banks are already pigs to begin with."This is an image of a standard piggy bank, while this is a buncha real pigs. In terms of body shape, Lechonk obviously resembles the former more.--MissDelibirda (talk) 06:15, 24 June 2022 (UTC)
- You clearly are not listening to what people are telling you. Piggy banks are already shaped to be like pigs to begin with, so saying Lechonk may be based off a piggy bank is basically repeating that Lechonk may be based of a pig. Just because subject A and B are based off the same thing, doesn't mean subject B is based off subject A. It's like saying Sentret is based off the Tanuki suit from Mario rather than just the Tanuki itself.--ForceFire 06:18, 24 June 2022 (UTC)

While, yes, Lechonk does have a very similar shape to common depictions of piggy banks, it needs more evidence to connect it to piggy banks before we can include that as a possible origin. Otherwise, the resemblence could be (and I would argue is likely) just a coincidence consequent of them both being based on pigs. "As well as" is not a conjunction. "It has a triangular pink snout with two huge oval nostrils, as well as stubby feet ending in pink hooves." is not a grammatical sentence.
