Merge with Team Galactic?
Isn't this article being separate from Team Galactic a bit misleading? Since so many other game languages – and most importantly, the source text – names this group *identically* to the antagonist group in DPt, leaving it as trivia at the bottom of the article that the name is "shared" is misleading. There may well be a deliberate implication that the Team Galactic of DPt is the same organization as the one we encounter in PLA, and not just a later, separate group that decided to appropriate the name after the fact. I've never really cared about how the localization of the dub seems to be treated as primary canon on this wiki, but letting unnecessary tinkering from the morons at Treehouse override continuity of the games themselves is disappointing. --INTERNETFRIEND (talk) 16:53, 6 February 2022 (UTC)
- There is no evidence to suggest that Team Galactic and Galaxy Team are one and the same, it is simply speculation to say that Galacy Team would end up becoming Team Galactic in the future.--ForceFire 17:11, 6 February 2022 (UTC)
- I agree, but it's clearly implied. The localization team is disregarding its own continuity bible by translating ギンガ団 differently in 2022 than was done in 2006. --INTERNETFRIEND (talk) 22:04, 6 February 2022 (UTC)
- The localization team could've also done that on purpose, as names can change over the course of history and that was what they were trying to imply. Again, we don't know if they are suppose to one and the same unless we get solid confirmation (be it from Game Freak, the anime, or a future game), hence why they are treated as separate entities.--ForceFire 08:44, 7 February 2022 (UTC)
