Hi! Just wanted to remind you about the preview button. Have you tried it out? It's worth noting that when making multiple consecutive edits, it clutters things up a bit, such as the recent changes feed and edit histories. Particularly on talk pages it makes it harder to keep track of the discussion, and may interrupt someone trying to reply. The preview button can help prevent this by allowing you to go over your edits/comments and make sure you've said everything you'd like to say before saving changes, keeping everything in one edit. If you absolutely must leave a new comment or add anything to what you previously said on a talk page, make sure to give it its own signature and time stamp. As far as editing existing comments, this is discouraged. However, it's sometimes okay to correct a spelling mistake or something that you can't live with, but I'd do this sparingly.
