Shamus: Difference between revisions

To settle the matter, Don George recommended that Shamus and Ash battle each other to which both agreed to be a [[Double Battle]]. Ash decided to use Tepig and {{AP|Snivy}}, but Tepig did not wish to battle against his former Trainer. He had the impression that Shamus still cared for him and only released him because he cared. However, he would reveal that he only pretends to be pained by releasing a weak Pokémon so that if he ever encounters them again they would be hesitant to battle him. The revelation left Tepig crushed. Although Snivy ended up defeated by a {{m|Flare Blitz}}/{{m|Fire Spin}} combination attack, Tepig managed to hang on and [[evolution|evolve]] into a {{AP|Pignite}} in the process. Using his new attack, {{m|Fire Pledge}}, as well as a powerful {{m|Flame Charge}}, he was able to defeat both of his opponents. Impressed by Pignite's new power, Shamus asked it to come back to him due to the fact that it could not forget about him, but Pignite simply responded by scorching his head with {{m|Flamethrower}}. It then walked over to Ash and stood proudly, deciding to stay with Ash.
