I see that it was you who added links to several VAs and other people involved with Pokemon anime and games in Japan in the Victory Road (Kalos) articles. However, I deleted those links as I deemed them as too vague. Those names aren't anything out of ordinary, those are all normal Japanese given names and it's no wonder that you can find people named Shin, Megumi, Unshou etc. among thousands of people involved in production of Pokemon anime and games. Not to mention that some of the figures you alluded to seem unlikely to be referenced in a Pokémon game. On top of all, there is no reason to believe in those references aside from the names. And the names alone aren't enough, in my opinion. If the creators of the game indeed wanted to reference those VAs and other people, they would probably give them Pokémon that could allude to these people (for example, the Trainer named Shin'ichirou would have a Meowth or Persian, Shōko would be probably given an Electric-type team etc.) but it's apparently not the case. So, I think it's better not to jump into such far conclusions and delete the links, unless we get a good reason to think otherwise. If I had checked whether the information has been added by an admin, I wouldn't delete it without notifying you first. But I hope that you aren't angry at me for that. --Maxim (talk) 16:10, 16 February 2014 (UTC)

:At the very least, the Shokotan reference is confirmed by Shoko Nakagawa herself. The Weavile is one she used as a trump card in battles over more than seven years. Considering that, it's likely that there are more matching references too, though not directly acknowledged, possibly only obvious to the exact people they're referencing. Also, not all those names are exactly that common - there are only two Japanese people named Unshou listed in the entirety of the Japanese wikipedia, and one of the two died over 100 years ago. Google results return overwhelmingly in favour of the Unshou known in Pokemon too. There's also much more obvious references, such as a Rica who has a Pikachu, Mamoru who has a Pansage, and Aoi who has an Axew, so there are definitely references to be found.
