::::::::Well, I think I saw the extra animation SoftFurretWarmFurret was referring to. I was using Ralts, and sometimes it would kind of clasp its arms before it and wriggle joyfully. But I managed to get it without any enjoyment bonus (I think I could have just opened the play mode and gotten that animation immediately if I knew how to cause it, though that's not ''exactly'' what happened), so it's purely aesthetic.
