::::Hmm, I think that it's not Psycho as in brain, but Psycho as in ''psychogenic'' having origin in the mind or in a mental condition or process. Many Dex entries talk about Psyduck's mental state and always having headaches. So I think it's short for the full word psychogenic not psycho.
