::Hmm, I get what you mean now. If we just finished saying that the "correct" answer is wrong, we should then refer to the others instead of the whole set, which is a break of context. :::I guess we could try rewording it. Though I'm not sure how else to reword it to be honest :/. Sticking with the mixture of "because, "due to" and "as" would be the easier route though.
