Tropical Tidal Wave (Japanese: トロピカルタイダルウェーブ Tropical Tidal Wave) is a Goods card. It is part of the Nintendo Black Star Promos collection.

Release information
- This card was first released at Worlds 2005. The 2005 print and all subsequent prints feature Pikachu riding a wave on a surfboard and a Psyduck in a rubber ring struggling in the background, accompanied by other Pokémon. The 2005 print also features Corsola and Wingull.
- It was reprinted for Worlds 2006 with art by the same artist and features Wailmer and Munchlax, gearing up for the release of Generation IV in Japan just one month after Worlds.
- It was reprinted for Worlds 2010 with art by the same artist on the updated Trainer layout introduced in HeartGold & SoulSilver. This print features Hoppip and Marill, as well as updated text stipulating "Trainer and Stadium cards" while omitting "excluding Supporter cards" in light of these cards now belonging to individual classifications. The Japanese print was also was reclassified as a Goods card, whereas all other language variations continued to classify it as a Trainer card.
- For each primary iteration of this card, a nine-card commemorative collection is given to participating players at the start of the tournament. The collection consists of seven prints of Tropical Tidal Wave in English, Japanese, French, German, Spanish, Portugese and Italian, along with two special cards featuring a themed design of the current World Championships; one advertising the forthcoming World Championship Decks and one advertising the date and venue for the following World Championships. Special stamped versions are also awarded to staff who helped oversee the event and to the top-ranking players in each division of the tournament.

- Even though the regular versions of this card are available in seven languages, the top-ranking stamped versions are only in English.
- Two copies of each of the top-ranking versions are awarded to respective players across the three divisions making a total of 192 top thirty-two versions, 96 top sixteen versions, 48 quarter-finalist versions, 24 semi-finalist versions, and 12 finalist versions at each Worlds.
