==Origin==
In the trivia section, it says that Remoraid bears no relation to Octillery, evolving from a fish to an octopus. However, I'm not sure Remoraid is entirely based on a fish. Based on the shape of it's body, it appears to also be, at least partly, based on an octopus larva. This would explain why it evolves into an octopus. ::::Didn't the anime state (I think it was by Gary in Johto Photo Finish) that Remoraid and Octillery were nothing alike? They wouldn't make a point of highlighting that if Remoraid was based off a larva. :::::Yes, this is true; but I think maybe Remoraid's body shape and eye placement could be alluding to the fact that it evolves into an octopus. It's obviously not the only thing it's based on, nor the most prominent, but I think it is there to make Remoraid slightly more related to Octillery. And, also, the anime isn't always the same as the games.
