:::::::Oh, I see what you're saying, you're talking about the "Investigate" section. It looks like whoever wrote this Pokémon.com article didn't properly understand the guidebook (since it appears to basically be an attempt to transfer that info). There is one blatant error there to begin with: "In Pokémon X & Pokémon Y: The Official Kalos Region Guidebook, base stats are represented by green boxes by each of the six stats." That is simply not the case; the guidebook uses those two boxes only once, and that's to demonstrate what "The strengths of the Pokémon's species" are. It's also why they're labelled "Stat Growth Rates" and not "Base Stats".
