Swinub has some similarities to Misty Togepi . They were both the six pokemon obtained by their trainers and are both gen 2 pokemon. They both willingly went with their trainers without requiring their trainers to battle them. They also evolved in similar situations. They were both being badly beaten and refused to give up causing their trainers to worry about their safety. Togepi was being beaten by Hanson’s Ninjask and evolved, while Swinub was being beaten by team rocket’s Magikarp sub and evolved. Both were the second pokemon of each trainer to be seen evolving on screen. Both are gen 2 pokemon that have gen 4 evolutions. Voit | |||
