 In the beginning of the episode she appeared, with Mizuki and Shion, when {{Ash}}, {{an|Iris}} and {{an|Cilan}} were walking through a forest. She introduced herself along with the other two girls. After that, she called [[Iris's Emolga]] ugly, which made Iris furious. Iris decided to follow Maya, Mizuki and Shion. After dressing themselves up as real ladies, Ash, Iris and Cilan got into the three girls castle.
-Once inside, Maya, Mizuki and Shion offered a comeptition against Iris, Ash and Cilan. They each faced off one on one by each choosing one Pokémon. The chosen Pokémon had to push eachother in muddy water to win. First, Maya used her {{p|Cinccino}} against [[Ash's Snivy]] in a battle tube. Although her Pokémon battled with elegance, Snivy attacked it and threw it into the muddy water. Later, she used her Cinccino against Snivy again, but this time Snivy was commanded by Iris. With her powerful attacks, Snivy managed to defeat Maya's Cinccino and again, Cinccino fell into the filthy water, but now together with Maya.

 Like the other two girls, Maya has a very arrogant personality and she only seems to care about looks. The other two girls of the club seem to agree with everything Maya says.
