Lovely Kiss (Japanese: あくまのキッス Demon's Kiss) is a non-damaging Normal-type move introduced in Generation I. It is the signature move of Jynx.

It appears to be a sleep counterpart to Sweet Kiss, as the type, PP, accuracy, battle animations and Japanese names are the same or very similar.

Effect

Generation I-II

Lovely Kiss causes the target to fall asleep.

Generation III and on

The effect of Lovely Kiss remains the same, except targets with Insomnia or Vital Spirit as their Ability are unaffected.

    • A similar situation occurs with Sweet Kiss, which stays this way in later generations.
