Pokémon: Advanced Battle is the eighth season of the Pokémon anime, and the third season of the dub of the Advanced Generation series. It is comprised of episodes 93-145 of the original Advanced Generation series. This season showcases the end of the adventures of Ash, May, Brock and Max in Hoenn, and the beginning of their adventures on Ash's second adventure through Kanto while challenging the Battle Frontier; from Lilycove City to Saffron City.
It originally aired in the United States as part of the 2005-2006 Kids' WB! Saturday morning line-up. The season began with Clamperl Of Wisdom, which originally aired on September 17, 2005, and ended with Pasta La Vista, which originally aired on July 8, 2006.
It is preceded by Pokémon: Advanced Challenge and followed by Pokémon: Battle Frontier. It should be noted that the concept of seasons does not exist in Japan, where Advanced Battle is considered merely a part of the overall Advanced Generation series.
See the list of Advanced Generation episodes for a list of Pokémon: Advanced Battle episodes.
