Scolipede (Pokémon): Difference between revisions

Its species shows that it was inspired by the {{wp|centipede}}, most likely the {{wp|Scolopendra heros arizonensis}}. However, other than the barbs on its head and backside, Pendra has more similarities to {{wp|milipedes}}, most likely a red {{wp|Archispirostreptus gigas}}, a species of {{wp|millipede}} often kept as a pet. It was also based on the {{wp|centaur}}, a half animal (in Pendra's case a millipede/centipede) half horse mythological creature.
