A '''Cowgirl''' (Japanese: '''カウガール''' ''Cowgirl'') is a type of [[Pokémon trainer]] that first debuted in the [[Generation IV]] games.  They are depicted as young women in cowgirl outfits.  Most are found near [[Solaceon Town]].  

Cowgirls are the female counterparts of [[Rancher|Ranchers]]. They also form half of the Double battle team, [[Belle & Pa]]; The other half of the team is a Rancher.
