The Outskirt Stand (Japanese: 町外れのスタンド Outskirt Stand) is a lonely gasoline stand/diner located in the southeastern desert in the Orre region. In Colosseum, it is the first location that Wes visits after destroying the Snagem Hideout. The stand also appears in , but plays a more minor role. The stand itself is made out of a broken-down locomotive engine. The machinery of the stand still works, with the steam engine providing electricity to the appliances inside.

A number of different useful items are sold here. However, the stand itself is vital in Colosseum, as it's the only place in Orre that sells Poké Balls. In however, they are sold in many other locations as well.

Pokémon world locations

The Outskirt Stand (Japanese: 町外れのスタンド Outskirt Stand) is a lonely gasoline stand/diner located in the southeastern desert in the Orre region. In Pokémon Colosseum, it is the first location that the player visits at the start of the game after destroying the Snagem Hideout. The stand also appears in Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness, but plays a more minor role. The stand itself is made out of a broken-down locomotive engine. The machinery of the stand still works, with the steam engine providing electricity to the appliances inside.

Inside of the engine is a small bar and restaurant that doubles as a convenience store. Weary travelers can rest in a booth and sip cool drinks while listening to the radio or jukebox. There is also a television, often showing the news.

Although a number of different useful items are sold here, the stand itself is vital in Pokémon Colosseum, as it's the only place in Orre that sells Poké Balls. In Pokémon XD, however, they are sold in many other locations as well.

The Outskirt Stand in Pokémon Colosseum Snatchers

Pokémon Colosseum Snatchers

The Outskirt Stand appeared in PCS1. While stopping there, Wes noticed Rui being kidnapped by Folly and Trudly. He battled the two goons and defeated their two Whismur with ease, forcing them to let Rui go. However, they soon returned with another Trainer, who challenged Wes using a Quilava, a Croconaw, and a Bayleef, which Rui saw possessing strange black auras. With his Espeon and Umbreon, Wes able to defeat each of the opposing Pokémon, before proceeding to snag the Bayleef, much to the surprise of everyone else present.

Trivia

 • Due to the player not having their own room in Pokémon Colosseum, they will instead spawn inside the Outskirt Stand after beating the game.
