In the core series games
Xavi is the player's opponent in their Z-A Royale promotion match to Rank W. He has a somewhat snooty personality, belittling the player for being in Rank X before the match begins. He doesn't have a stated wish upon reaching Rank A, and simply wants to reach the rank in order to be the best.
Upon losing the promotion match, Xavi states that he doesn't care that he lost, claiming that the letter X is cooler than W anyway.
