Release information
This card was released as both a Regular card and a Full Art card in the Roaring Skies expansion, first released in the Japanese Emerald Break expansion. The Regular print features artwork by Megumi Mizutani, while the Full Art print features artwork by Emi Ando. The Regular print was reprinted in the English Generations expansion with new artwork by Megumi Mizutani, first released in the Japanese PokéKyun Collection. The Emerald Break print was reprinted in Japan during the Sun & Moon Era in the Ultra Moon Deck Build Box.
This card was banned from the Expanded format in August 17, 2018 due to its combination with Trevenant stifling creativity, preventing several strategies from being viable, and having the potential to make a major negative impact on an opponent before their first turn. It has been then unbanned starting March 5, 2021 as since the Sword & Shield expansion release the player who goes first can no longer play a Supporter card on their first turn.
