Reason: Generation VIII

Version-exclusive moves are moves that are not available in all games in a single generation. They are often the signature moves of version-exclusive Pokémon. For Pokémon Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee! onward, this is specific to games that are paired with one another, as Pokémon's moves do not carry over through Pokémon HOME to other games in the same generation.

This list does not take into account the fact that the following moves could be Sketched, used via Metronome, or obtained from events. This list does not include Shadow moves, which, with the exception of Shadow Rush, are all exclusive to Pokémon XD. This also does not include moves of Pokémon who cannot be obtained in-game in any game within the generation, such as Psycho Boost during Generation IV and V.

The moves are listed in order of their index number and categorized by the generation in which they are version-exclusive.
