By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

My underleveled pokemon page

Very sorry for late reply as I wasn't aware that the discussion page was being used. Thank you very much for the information but to avoid draining server resources by editing multiple times, I'v been working on a word document on this page. Also I haven't forgotten about the page as I have been working on the spin-off games Underleveled page as well. If you want go right ahead to edit itNikuriku (talk) 02:29, 2 July 2017 (UTC)

Hebrew names

ICYMI I messaged you on my talk page. We can continue this conversation here if you like. --Raltseye prata med mej 13:38, 19 June 2018 (UTC)

Hm, I'd say we should only use the names used in the anime. If you could filter out the ones that have been used in the anime and add them to my list that would be much appreciated. As for the names I have collected it is the ones used in the Episode titles as I have mentioned. Are there any official source for those names or are they just written down from ear? The episodes I'm talking about are the ones from the first and second season as that's how far I came until you stopped me ;) --Raltseye prata med mej 14:06, 19 June 2018 (UTC)

All names from the episode titles are written from ear, no pokemon have any official hebrew names except for Pikachu (פיקאצ'ו). Sometimes pokemon are inconsistent between episode titles.--Yaronos (talk) 14:42, 19 June 2018 (UTC)

I see. Well then, why not list all names? Or at least the ones used in the anime? That's what I would do. --Raltseye prata med mej 15:14, 19 June 2018 (UTC)

Page moves

Pages must never be copy-paste moved. This removes the attribution to the article's authors, resulting in a violation of the Creative Commons license. Pages must only ever be moved using the "move" button. If you can't move a page that way, that's a good indication that you shouldn't be moving the page in the first place. If you want such a page to be moved, message a staff member on their talk page. --SnorlaxMonster 10:55, 19 March 2019 (UTC)

Okay, sorry.Yaronos (talk) 10:56, 19 March 2019 (UTC)

The Preview Button

Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Page button. Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Also, if you want to edit multiple sections of the page, make sure that you click "edit this page" at the top of the page rather than editing it by section. Thanks! --Tiddlywinks (talk) 23:59, 24 March 2019 (UTC)

Oh sorry--Yaronos (talk) 14:53, 25 March 2019 (UTC)

Thanks

Thanks for sorting the redirect for Gladion's Eevee, never done a redirect before--BigDocFan (talk) 14:15, 10 July 2019 (UTC)

Redirects

No. Stop. We don't need that many different redirects. Let alone the fact that many of them are treated the same in the search bar (Pokémon Silver Version and Gold Version‎ will redirect to the same page as Pokemon Silver Version and Gold Version‎), we don't need most of those redirects in the first place. --SnorlaxMonster 14:24, 3 October 2019 (UTC)

Ok, sorry.--Yaronos (talk) 14:27, 3 October 2019 (UTC)

Type Changing on move pages

Before updating a mon's typing/breeding group on move pages, please make sure you've considered the generation the table is under. You've done a few edits changing mons like Cleffa to Fairy under Gen 3 games for example. Lanthanum (talk) 15:53, 15 January 2020 (UTC)

I know... but I've that in Bulbapedia many pre-gen Gen 6 learnsets being updated with the Fairy type, so I think all of them should be updated, especially because they can be transferred into future generations. There are also situations like the Headbutt TM section, since it's TM in Let's Go, Clefairy was changed to a Fairy type and its STAB is removed, but what about Snubbull? Make it a still a Normal type is true, but ruin the consistency of the age, as well as make visitors confused.Yaronos (talk) 17:53, 15 January 2020 (UTC)
That's fair. I'm just going along with what I've seen are the site's standards, which I think are still best to follow logically. Since moves are categorized by generation, for special moves, I think it's best to follow the generation's context, assuming they won't be transferred. People might be playing Gen 2 for example and be confused why the Bulbapedia listing of a type/breeding group isn't consistent with the game he/she's playing. For the TM example you gave tho, I think that would be one case where consistency in typing for the whole table is more important than accurate info for a specific gen. Lanthanum (talk) 00:33, 16 January 2020 (UTC)
This applies to egg groups as well. --TheICTLiker4 14:24, 17 January 2020 (UTC)
