|Welcome to Bulbapedia, UxieLover1994!|
By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!
- Thanks for the welcome. Yeah, I've been browsing this wiki for years, and I've just recently decided to join, though my only edits for now will be spelling corrections. By the way, I'm from the Kingdom Hearts Wiki (SEIWA's version), so I'm experienced when it comes to wiki coding. UxieLover1994 (talk) 06:19, 14 August 2013 (UTC)
How to edit
How do I get permission to edit certain pages, including my own? Or how do I become more free to edit things here? Like, I wanted to try the Pokemon Fortune Telling Book from EP157 - Johto Journeys: The Fortune Hunters since there is nothing on it. EvErLoyaLEagLE (talk) 16:54, 17 May 2014 (UTC)
- You need to make a lot of edits before you'll be able to edit your userpage. Also, you can edit pages right away, but some pages, mainly the important ones, can only be edited by staff members. UxieLover1994 (talk) 22:43, 17 May 2014 (UTC)
- Well, it's randomized, as I've heard. I think doing edits for a month would trigger it. UxieLover1994 (talk) 00:50, 19 May 2014 (UTC)
- Sorry to butt in. To edit semi-protected pages and create a user page, you must first become autoconfirmed. This is based on two factors: the length of time since you joined the wiki and how many edits you've made. It's not randomised, but it is an automatic process, so once you've met the criteria, the wiki software will make you autoconfirmed automatically. --ZestyCactus 00:54, 19 May 2014 (UTC)
Homosexuality in the anime
I want to leave a comment here on your talk page just to reinforce this point...
Twice now, in the span of barely two months, you have used the same argument that homosexuality is banned in Japan and therefore would never be written into the anime (first about Serena's Pancham and this time about Clemont's Chespin). The first time, Force Fire responded very unambiguously that "We will not assume what the writers will and won't do, regardless of the laws over there" and that "gender is only confirmed through Attract or explicitly stated in show, not behavioral patterns".
Please do not try to use the same argument again. It is not one this wiki agrees with, as a matter of policy, and we would ask that you accept that rather than bring up the same argument every time. Thank you.
