Pokétch

All hidden items do not have their exact location displayed if you are too far. Try moving closer. Also, please spell Pokétch properly, with an e-acute. This is found on the character palette below the editbox.--freezingCOLD (page, talk) 20:05, 7 April 2009 (UTC)

I find this hard to believe, as I tried for several minutes to locate the Sky Plate outside of Victory Road/Pokemon League with the Dowsing Machine, but to no avail. I moved around literally the entire piece of land that it's supposed to be on, yet all I got was the "radiating" circle on the Poketch. And if memory serves correctly, the same thing happened with other plates found elsewhere. But I'll try again, as I still have not picked up the Sky Plate. And thanks for the accenting tip, I'll keep that in mind next time I edit in the mainspace. Thrashmeister 20:09, 7 April 2009 (UTC)
No prob. And, if you don't mind, I'll keep your trivia hidden until you can prove it.--freezingCOLD (page, talk) 20:15, 7 April 2009 (UTC)
Okay, I read your latest edit summary reverting my new trivia and I can assure you right now that it does NOT happen with all items. I am 100% certain of this. With any other hidden items you can just click anywhere on the Poketch and, as long as you are close enough, the item will show up on the screen, no matter where it is, no matter where you click. But with the plates, you have to press the exact location for it to show up on the Pokétch. Thrashmeister 20:30, 7 April 2009 (UTC)
