Welcome to Bulbapedia, TheMaskedMeowth!

By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Color templates

It's been a short while, but by the way, please do not create color templates for games. We need to be sure that game colors don't clash as much as possible, so it's best if it's just left for someone on staff to create them. If you'd like, you're welcome to create sample colors in your userspace. Tiddlywinks (talk) 07:35, 1 June 2018 (UTC)

Your Adventure

The Opening Your Adventure (SM100-SM101) does contain the shot of Dia fighting Ash.

It's the same shot, ergo, Dia fighting Ash. I wouldn't lie like that. And why would there be a sky shot in the Guzzlord scene? It took place in a building. Playerking95 (talk) 13:10, 25 December 2018 (UTC)

Yeah, by technicality you're right but the main context of the scene is Zeraora saving Ash, they took that shot from later in the episode because the shot of Dia commanding Zeraora in that scene didn't look as good as what they used in the opening. I'm gonna go ahead and change it back since I wouldn't count literally half a second of footage (12 frames from what I counted) is enough to say that Dia was fighting Ash. --TheMaskedMeowth (talk) 20:36, 27 December 2018 (UTC)
It doesn't matter if it's a short shot or not, it's still a part of the opening. Therefore, it doesn't matter if you think it's too short, it should be stated what's different about the openings. Playerking95 (talk) 10:29, 28 December 2018 (UTC)
Don't just undo a pointless deletion from that page, when I changed it back to what it should be considering it is a part of the opening and then say go to your talk page, when I've already started a conversation there. Playerking95 (talk) 10:35, 28 December 2018 (UTC)
Also, don't make up stuff by saying they used a different shot because it looked better, when you don't know why and that also is NOT a good enough reason. Playerking95 (talk) 10:39, 28 December 2018 (UTC)

Edit Summaries

Don't converse in the edit summaries.

I undid it because it wasn't time yet and then when it was time, I added what needed to be added and it wasn't a worse version. That's your opinion, but it needs to be added that Ash was facing off against the Masked Royal and there needs to be a link to the Alola League. Playerking95 (talk) 09:49, 13 January 2019 (UTC)

You didn't say anything about Ash fighting Kukui anywhere in your edit (I didn't notice it while watching the episode, was hoping someone would add later). There were literally blatant errors and incomplete sentences in the version you put out as well so, yes, objectively speaking it was a worse version. And nowhere in any rule anywhere on Bulbapedia does it say that edits have to wait until after the episode has finished airing If you'd like to point out to me where it says that, feel free to, but if not, I really don't appreciate you forcing your, quite frankly, stupid rules down my throat, especially if it's destructive to a page. But, sorry for talking in edits, won't happen again. --TheMaskedMeowth (talk) 09:55, 13 January 2019 (UTC)
Well I did add that to the page and no there weren't blatant errors. There way have been errors, but they weren't jarringly noticeable. And all the variants have to state are the changes, so I didn't think it needed a complete sentence, so, no, it was not worse. And yes, episodes need to finish before things are added. People have been told this many times, so don't get unnecessarily angry just because you don't know how some things are done and don't assume I'm making up rules for no reason. Don't throw around accusations like that. I'm not here to mess with this website and I'm sure you're not either. So let's both do whats best and not get into anymore heated exchanges. Playerking95 (talk) 10:02, 13 January 2019 (UTC)
Go back and look your second edit. There were errors, which could have been avoided had you just used my edit, which was fine other than the fact that it was early. And yes, I would still like to see the exact rule on this website where it says I'm not allowed to edit things while the episode is airing, even if the part I'm editing is regarding a part of the episode that has already aired. --TheMaskedMeowth (talk) 10:08, 13 January 2019 (UTC)
I don't know. I've seen people and possibly myself as well be told about this. It's because the episode is currently airing and it might create too much traffic to be editing things straight away. I'm not just going to make up a rule. Surely you can see other people don't edit things that relate to the current episode while its airing, but after it airs. Playerking95 (talk) 11:34, 13 January 2019 (UTC)

Editing episode articles

We encourage users to edit episode articles, or articles relating to a certain episode, after the episode airs so they don't have to keep editing the page every minute or so. It would be better to wait until the episode has finished and then add everything in at once. The rule can be found here, by the way.--ForceFire 12:14, 13 January 2019 (UTC)

Talk Page Comments

Removing talk page comments, including the initial welcome template, is prohibited per Bulbapedia's talk page policy. Please do not remove any comments in the future. If you wish to clean old comments away, you should archive your talk page instead. Thank you! --ForceFire 07:42, 12 January 2022 (UTC)

Do that for me then instead of lecturing me on why it's wrong of me to edit my own pages. Thanks. --TheMaskedMeowth (talk) 16:20, 12 January 2022 (UTC)
You can archive your talk page by moving it to User talk:TheMaskedMeowth/Archive one. It's not that hard.--ForceFire 17:04, 12 January 2022 (UTC)
Since you're so smart, can you tell me how to delete my account please?? That's all I was trying to do. Everytime I make a contribution here, or even so much as manage my personal space, either staff or other editors are completely rude to me for no reason. --TheMaskedMeowth (talk) 18:22, 12 January 2022 (UTC)
User accounts can't get deleted. We apologise if you felt that you weren't welcome here, but do understand that this is a public wiki and your edits will be changed for one reason or another, but it doesn't mean they are doing it out of rudeness or impoliteness. They are trying to help you become a better user by giving you advice.--ForceFire 05:28, 13 January 2022 (UTC)
