By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Japanese names

Why did you start changing the Japanese names? That is a huge change to make for a new user and for no reason. -- MAGNEDETH 20:32, 15 July 2012 (UTC)

Just noting that it's not the Hepburn names (as eg. Pidgeotto's Hepburn is Pijon, and Silver6438 changed Pigeon to Pigyon). Marked +-+-+ (talk) 20:41, 15 July 2012 (UTC)
Fact of the matter is that all of the Japanese names are copyrighted by Nintendo, so we know they are right and they are never to be changed. -- MAGNEDETH 20:47, 15 July 2012 (UTC)

lol i can edit this. Honestly, i wanted to do is change the romanji to show more accurate Japanese spelling and pronunciation. Romanji (just in case you weren't aware) is Japanese pronunciation and/or spelling using the English alphabet. By all means, change it back. But just realize Romanji is not any official language and changing the way the Japanese is read by English people via Romanji isn't a federal offence. If it is, my deepest and most sincere apologizes. And to finish this off, i ask that you delete my account. Yes I'm probably being a drama queen and maybe this stuff does happen a lot, but the only reason i joined was to fix the romanji and if i can't do that well there is no point :P (that and i can't find where i can deactivate my account.)

Well i guess that isn't it. I hate to appear a total Ash Ketchum so let me finish with a positive note: love the site, super helpful for all my Pokemon needs(sorry, i was too lazy to find the accented e). - unsigned comment from Silver6438 (talkcontribs)

Not mad, but when a new person goes and starts editing copyrighted name (which happens a few times a year), it's a matter of getting the message across before too much damage is done. We are aware of the differences in language, but a copyright is what it is.
Also, we don't generally delete accounts, and you wont want it deleted anyway because one day, you're going to be surfing the site and see a spelling error, and with the account, you can fix it. Also, having the account means you don't see adverts. And don't worry, even I don't use the é on talk pages. -- MAGNEDETH 02:20, 16 July 2012 (UTC)

just delete it please. I can either ask nicely as i am now or edit a bunch of crap to worthless trash. Save your time and just delete my account please. - unsigned comment from Silver6438 (talkcontribs)

We literally cannot delete accounts. As such, I have done the closest possible and blocked your account indefinitely. Werdnae (talk) 10:28, 16 July 2012 (UTC)
