Welcome to Bulbapedia, Rosebr10!

By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

VA Sources

Please note that "sounds like" claims are not a valid source for voice actor information. If you intend to add information regarding voice actors, you need to provide a source that can be reviewed for accuracy and legitimacy. - Kogoro - Talk to me - 14:34, 25 November 2013 (UTC)

Again, Rosebr10, please provide an actual source if you want to discuss voice actor information. Saying it sounds more like one person than another is not a source. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 19:01, 4 January 2014 (UTC)

Userspace limits

Hi. I noticed you have been editing the User: namespace a lot recently. Please don't do it any more, though. Bulbapedia's Userspace policy restricts the amount you can edit your userpage: no more than three edits per day and make sure you contribute to our mainspace more than your userspace. This policy was instated to promote people helping out in the mainspace, and also to control strain on our server. Bulbapedia is an encyclopedia, after all, so help us out by contributing to some articles before coming back to your personal userpage. The more often you edit in the mainspace, the more you will be allowed to edit your userpage. Thanks! --Den Zen 17:42, 5 January 2014 (UTC)

Hold on!

If you did not read your last warning, then please read it now. You have edited the User: namespace too much. In the past, no one was allowed to edit their userpages because some users were over-editing their own userpages. Your personal editing privileges can be taken away, so please do not edit your page any more for now. Instead, how about helping contribute to some of Bulbapedia's many articles? Thank you. --It's Funktastic~!話してください 04:44, 6 February 2014 (UTC)

Citing sources for VA information

Hello Rosebr10, it's great that you're dedicated to updating voice actor information, like Kenji-girl and myself. However, I've noticed that there's unfortunately been a bit of a conflict between you and several other users, so I thought I'd step in.

When you add VA information, it's usually best that you have some sort of evidence to back it up. Simply saying that "(name of X character) sounds like (name of Y character), so it must be (name of VA who has been confirmed as either role, but not both)" does not actually prove anything. The best sources you can use would obviously be the voice actors themselves; you can try to contact them, or simply browse through their websites or social networking profiles, and cite whatever comes from themselves, or someone who represents them. Examples would be an email, resume, or Facebook/Twitter post.

If you can't find any sort of confirmation directly from them, you can at least present a screencap of the "Additional Voices" section of the episode credits. While they don't match the names of the VAs to the roles they've played, it should at least narrow it down to a small talent pool.

Anyway, glad to have you on board, and I hope you'll continue to help out with Project VA. GamerGeek 21:42, 13 March 2014 (UTC)

Credits

I've already told you that credits do not say who voiced who, thus are not a valid source for Voice Actors. I've also noticed that you have also sourced your information from websites in a couple of edits, which is one of the correct ways to get a valid source. The other is to contact Tom Wayland for voice confirmation. I know that the two options are tedious, but they are the only way, especially when the credits are of no help.--ForceFire 00:57, 25 April 2014 (UTC)

Final Warning

Please read your talk page comments. You must have a source for whenever you add voice actors. And no, credits do not count. The only way to do so, currently at least, is to contact a voice actor to get confirmation.--ForceFire 05:51, 12 May 2014 (UTC)

Success

Hey, just thought I'd let you know, I asked Tara about Bianca from the 5th movie and this is what she said, https://twitter.com/TaraSandsLA/status/497160318695768064

I think this can finally be put to rest. :) DTJMan (talk) 12:17, 7 August 2014 (UTC)

Kether Donohue

Hello Rosebr10 My name is Ritaya Moriarty. I am looking as hard as I can but I cannot find any sources that link Kether Donohue to my sister Annice Moriarty. now others on bulbapedia claim it's a pesudonym, despite Donohue being a Caucasian American who would be appropriating an ancient malagasy name if she were to use the name Annice Moriarty. Our family is Malagasy, Kenyan/Mozambiquen and Bantu, not Caucasian-American, and Annice Moriarty is 9 years older than Kether Donohue, and was living in Entebbe, Uganda on October 31, 1985, the day that Donohue was born. I wish somebody in the anime community would verify this claimed pseudonym as my sister is a voice actress living in New York since she was 12 in 1988, and voiced Lily in Kappa Mikey and Skuld in Ah My Goddess. Rolls that some sites that follow the lie of Donohue=moriarty believe goes to Kether Donohue. Please help either verify this claim or else stop people from adding it to bulbapedia and other anime sites. I also need help because I'm trying to perge my sister's name from Kether's IMDB page, waiting for moderation again. thanks. African Vulture (talk) 07:35, 10 March 2019 (UTC)
