VA credits

Hi! I just want to let you know, here on Bulbapedia, we're pretty strict about voice actor credits, especially English ones. VA credits must be reliably sourced. So we ask that whenever you add a VA credit, you include a link to a source in your edit summary. An acceptable source is something like a tweet from the actor or someone else involved in the show who would know. Sites that use user-submitted information like IMDB are not reliable sources, on the other hand. I hope you understand. Thanks! Tiddlywinks (talk) 04:20, 12 December 2016 (UTC)

Dub titles and airdates

You need to source where you get your dub titles and airdates, and in the case of the latter, do not assume the episodes are going to air weekly. Something could happen that would make the episode get postponed to a later date. Your edits will be reverted unless you can provide a source.--Force Fire 02:55, 15 December 2016 (UTC)

Edit Warring

PokeAmour, you've re-added the trivium about Ash's original series outfit in the XY series at least three times that I can see. If you want to argue for its inclusion, please don't edit war — instead, take it up on the XY series talk page or the user talk page for Force Fire, who was the staff member who first removed it as far as I know. If no one replies to your message, please don't take it as justification for continuing an edit war. That just leads to frustration. The way we do things around here is to talk over disagreements, and try to see other people's reasons for doing what they do; not just undo things right and left. All of us at bulbapedia appreciate that you're trying to improve the wiki, just try to understand that people might disagree with you over what constitutes improvement. --Felthry (talk) 03:14, 29 January 2017 (UTC)

The Preview Button

Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Page button. Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Also, if you want to edit multiple sections of the page, make sure that you click "edit this page" at the top of the page rather than editing it by section. Images yet to be uploaded

Please do not unhide an image that is yet to be uploaded, wait until someone has uploaded the image to unhide it. If you want to upload an image, you can do so at the Bulbagarden Archives. If not, then have some patience. Thank you.--Force Fire 05:04, 18 April 2017 (UTC)

You have to be autoconfirmed to be able to upload, of which the requirements to be autoconfirmed at the archive are the same on the 'pedia. SS036's who's that Pokémon image has already been upload, fyi.--Force Fire 14:38, 18 April 2017 (UTC)

SM128

It's not 268 episodes since a Snivy last appeared, it's 267. 268 would include SM128 itself, which it shouldn't, because SM128 was the episode it appeared in. Just add 140 and 127 and you get 267. Playerking95 (talk) 14:58, 7 July 2019 (UTC)

Avalugg filename

Hey.

Avalugg's official model in Pokémon GO has been found, but I can't upload it under the name of GO713.png because I can't overwrite your HOME placeholder. Could you delete the file just so I can upload it?

I did. Multiple times. Sometimes it does show up on the moves it learns (i edited them in) but on Avalugg's main page, it still shows the placeholder caio (talk) 20:12, 15 December 2021 (UTC)

GO TBC Pokémon

Hi there! Just to let you know, I do have sources for those confirmed upcoming Pokémon. Flabebe and Helioptile are on the current loading screen; Mega Mewtwo Y and Mega Lucario are on the 4th anniversary art; and Rowlet, Litten, Popplio, and Mega Mewtwo X are on the 5th anniversary art. Hi GloverMist! Thank you for your response and for sending me the links to the artwork as well as the ones on the loading screens. I didn't notice them when you indicated it until I saw the images after I undid your edit. Based on what I saw in the anniversary arts and current loading screen, you are correct for a potential future release in Pokémon GO for the teased Pokémon you indicated as well as the ones teased on the loading screen. However, the thing with those lists by availability and for Mega Evolutions, that list of Pokémon you posted in those lists is really for Pokémon who have been confirmed to be released or have already been released in Pokémon GO. For Pokémon as well as their Mega Evolutions not currently released, including the ones teased on the images and loading screen, I personally think it would be more appropriate to make a separate list for remaining Generation VI Pokémon that are yet to be released as well as a list of Mega Evolutions that are yet to be released. Does that sound like a better idea to you? If not, let me know if you have other ideas on how we can indicate it, thanks! PokeAmour (talk) 00:18, 9 January 2022 (UTC)

Yeah, that sounds fair enough, you can delete the TBC sections. As I think there are only 12 evolution families left from Gen 6 to be added, it may just be worth waiting and adding them to the table at the very top of the page when the number goes down to about 10 or so. As for upcoming megas, there’s apparently 30 of them left, so that may be a few too many to bother listing yet! But aside from that, your idea is great! GloverMist (talk) 10:01, 9 January 2022 (UTC)

Official sources for GO

I just noticed you undid my edits on List of Pokémon by availability (GO) (although you later un-undid them) because my source is "unofficial"...??? The thing is, my source is the official Indonesian Pokémon GO Instagram account (https://www.instagram.com/pokemongoappid/); you can literally see the checkmark validating it. I just think it's a bit weird that you would dismiss this source and call it unofficial because it is written in another language, but whatever. Anzasquiddles (talk) 23:39, 24 April 2023 (UTC)

Carter Cathcart

I've noticed you've removed unknown from James and Meowth regarding their voice actors, to me it looks like Carter Cathcart has been at least partially replaced due to ill health, do you have any confirmation that says different?--BigDocFan, Junior Admin Bulbapedia (talk) 14:06, 3 July 2023 (UTC)

Source is from the episodes of the show - end credits. Unfortunately this is the best I can find. If I find anything more I'll keep you posted. Also, I recall seeing an article saying Carter Cathcart is retiring at the end of Ultimate Journeys: The Series.
