By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Pound

Skąd to tłumaczenie?

Piotrek1113 (talk) 21:51, 31 August 2014 (UTC)
...mój błąd. :P Tłumaczenie gier miałoby pewną przeszkodę we fleksji ("Bulbasaur użył Słonecznego Promienia" a "<gracz> znalazł TM24 (Słoneczny Promień)". Eridanus (talk) 14:15, 3 September 2014 (UTC)
Racja :) Ale pewnie jeśli byłaby sposobność przetłumaczenia na nasz język, to GameFreak znalazłby na to sposób :P Piotrek1113 (talk) 13:09, 4 September 2014 (UTC)

In other languages

Hello there! Thanks for adding Polish names to articles! But when it has more then one name it is prefered to add the last used name first. Thanks! --Raltseye prata med mej 23:43, 1 February 2018 (UTC)

Ok, thanks for the tip! :) Piotrek1113 (talk) 20:46, 4 February 2018 (UTC)
No worries, mate! :) --Raltseye prata med mej 20:54, 4 February 2018 (UTC)

Heart Scale

From where did you get the name? It's not mentioned in the anime as far as I know. --Raltseye prata med mej 00:20, 2 April 2018 (UTC)

But it is, in the 20th episode of Sun and Moon the girls mention Heart Scales and Corsola's Branches :) Even in the plot section of SM020 is this: "However, Mallow says they are not done yet, as they will be heading to Alola Sunrise, a popular shop which sells accessories made out of natural materials such as Heart Scales and Corsola branches." Piotrek1113 (talk) 01:32, 2 April 2018 (UTC)
Ah, you're absolutely right about that. Thanks. I watched the Swedish dub which sort of glanced over it so I missed it. :P Has been added now. --Raltseye prata med mej 01:55, 2 April 2018 (UTC)

Detektyw Pikachu

Regarding this edit, where did you get the voice actor from? I looked at Warner's official page and they haven't even announced a dub as far as I can read. --Raltseye prata med mej 20:06, 10 March 2019 (UTC)

Before the airings of Captain Marvel in cinemas they showed the polish trailer (someone recorded the sound and mixed with the actual trailer, you can check it out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Cwausfzekg&t=0s). I can easily recognize this voice actor, because he voiced Brock in the tenth season of the anime (Diamond and Pearl). Piotrek1113 (talk) 20:18, 10 March 2019 (UTC)
Ok, nice. Thanks! Now we have confirmed all the expected dubs. --Raltseye prata med mej 21:55, 10 March 2019 (UTC)

Link templates

Clearly you need to closely review the site's list of link templates. You need to use templates in order to link to certain articles, otherwise it just looks unprofessional. Please do so. Thank you. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 23:49, 6 August 2019 (UTC)

I'll remember that and sorry for all the trouble! Piotrek1113 (talk) 04:33, 8 August 2019 (UTC)
It's alright. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 20:10, 9 August 2019 (UTC)

Polish Pokémon magazine

Yes, I have this magazine sold in Tesco stores, regarding this edit that you have reverted. But thank you for information why did you revert this. --TheICTLiker4 16:46, 11 March 2020 (UTC)

Zasłona Dymna

Hey, I know about you anime Polish translation project and I notice something weird. In the episode AG015:Kto rządzi w szkole! Max told Poliwag to use "Zasłona Dymna" (Defence Curl), "Zasłona Dymna" (Belly Drum), "Obronny Unik" (Defence Curl), but there are no such names on Bulbapedia pages so you may have missed them. I'll add them just so you know.--Rocket Grunt 15:30, 7 March 2021 (UTC)

Thanks for the help, but it's not necessary though :) I added a note in the error section of AG015, because it's clearly a translation error (a common ocurrence during OS-Advanced dubs). That's the reason I didn't add them in their respective pages. When looking at my project, you can see any names with "X" next to it, this means it's just an error.

Also, it's Ochronny Unik, which is already added in the page of Defense Curl. Piotrek1113 (talk) 19:11, 7 March 2021 (UTC)

Ok. I didn't know how you handled the errors. That's a good solution. Thanks.--Rocket Grunt 19:40, 7 March 2021 (UTC)

Dynamax

Shouldn't moves like "Max Kolce Stali" be written as "Maks Kolce Stali"?--Rocket Grunt 14:03, 1 July 2021 (UTC)

Actually no, I'm watching the dub with Polish subtitles and it's clearly written as Max Kolce Stali. But thanks for the question :) Piotrek1113 (talk) 14:18, 1 July 2021 (UTC)

Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Page button. Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Thanks! --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 22:26, 9 July 2021 (UTC)

Yes yes, I know about that. I just have noticed something after I submitted the edit. Sorry about that, I'll be more careful next time. Piotrek1113 (talk) 22:32, 9 July 2021 (UTC)

New Polish names

I am just not on time with the anime, but the new issue of the Polish Pokémon magazine includes the following Polish names:

Names: Abilities
en pl
Competitive Konkurencyjny
Defiant Prowokacja
Berserk Szał
Transistor Tranzystor
Dragon's Maw Paszcza Smoka
Names: Moves
en pl
Freezing Glare Lodowate Spojrzenie
Thunderous Kick Gromowy Kop
Fiery Wrath Ognisty Gniew
Thunder Cage Klatka Błyskawic
Dragon Energy Smocza Energia

This all comes from pages 20-22 (information on Galarian legendary birds, Regieleki, and Regidrago). Also, freeze is "zamrożenie" here, as well as flinching as "zawahanie". Can you confirm if this has been in any official Polish Pokémon media (such as anime) so I can add these names to the respective pages? --Bfdifan2006 (T/C) 13:44, 13 March 2022 (UTC)

No, currently these names weren't in the anime and didn't get any official names yet. The problem with this magazine is, that they really try to match some names with the anime, but at the same time they're doing it inconsistently. Just noticed that in the recent issue they used the term "galariański" instead of "galarski", which is considered an error. I have a section for the magazine in my document and I'm marking them with colors to show, which names are used from the dub, which are technically wrong by the dub standards, since Diamond and Pearl of course (while inserting the "correct" name in parenthesis next to it), and some that are specific to TCG, which doesn't say much because since DP there were no Polish cards released. So it means that they had to translate it by themself. There's the link if you're interested: Link (probably monday or tuesday I'll get the newest issue, so I'll add this issue's names there later).
I would rather hold off with adding them to the pages for now. But thanks for the information! Piotrek1113 (talk) 14:49, 13 March 2022 (UTC)
The correct link to the spreadsheet is actually on your user page (User:Piotrek1113). Also, forgot about one thing I somehow didn't mention in the table — Berserk as "Szał". --Bfdifan2006 (T/C) 15:11, 13 March 2022 (UTC)
Yes, I know. But just included the link to this exact section about the magazine. Also, nice to know that someone reads my document :) Until I get this issue soon, I'll add these names to Tackle Project, thanks! Piotrek1113 (talk) 16:19, 13 March 2022 (UTC)

Tackle project

Seems like some moves got skipped over and aren't on the list all - like Horn Drill, Tackle or Fury Attack. Might want to doublecheck the list, just in case more moves are missing. Eridanus (talk) 11:44, 12 May 2022 (UTC)

Oh, you're right, there's so much stuff that I didn't notice some of them being missing in the main list. I still need to add PLA names anyway, so I'll check that too. Thanks for the info! Piotrek1113 (talk) 12:20, 12 May 2022 (UTC)
Weren't you supposed to list the moves in index number order (that is, according to the order on the list of moves)? After you added the skipped Generation I moves, they're listed at the top, where they aren't supposed to be. --Bfdifan2006 (T/C) 15:52, 12 May 2022 (UTC)
I mean, is that really important? But for the consistency sake I'll fix that since I added other skipped moves from other generations, which are now in the right order hah. Piotrek1113 (talk) 16:00, 12 May 2022 (UTC)

Hiding

Just in case you don't know: hiding work with just two lines on each side (as in <!-- -->), instead of three. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 21:14, 17 August 2023 (UTC)

Oh, my bad! Thanks for the info! Piotrek1113 (talk) 21:50, 17 August 2023 (UTC)

Two questions

  1. Are you going to make a Discord account (if you haven't already) and join Bulbagarden's Discord server? If you do, we will both benefit because we'd have a much easier way of communication. Also, many of Bulbapedia's staff members already use Discord.
  2. Are the limited Pokémon edition Actimel nutrition drinks notable enough to mention on the Pokémon in Poland page?

--Bfdifan2006 (talk) 22:36, 6 October 2023 (UTC)

After reading your post I joined the discord. And about the bottles: I guess? It's worth archiving such info. We could also include a photo of these from the ad. Piotrek1113 (talk) 22:56, 6 October 2023 (UTC)
