Welcome to Bulbapedia, Lockheedpryde!
Bulbapedia bulb.png

By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

The Preview Button

Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Page button. Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Also, if you want to edit multiple sections of the page, make sure that you click "edit this page" at the top of the page rather than editing it by section. Thanks! --Berrenta (talk) 00:29, 19 October 2016 (UTC)

I agree and after what you did with Template:Delia's Pokémon‎‎ I would recommend using the Preview button as for something delicate like Template editing, I prefer to preview as it is very easy to make a mistake. -Tyler53841 (talk) 00:01, 25 December 2016 (UTC)

-Ok! Thanks. ;) --Lockheedpryde (talk) 00:03, 25 December 2016 (UTC)

Also try to limit yourself to at least 3 edits at a time for the same page to help avoid clogging up the recent changes. -Tyler53841 (talk) 00:09, 25 December 2016 (UTC)

Delia's Pokémon

I'm just leaving this message to inform you that I deleted the "Delia's Pokémon" template that you created. Delia only has one Pokémon, so having a navigational template is pretty unnecessary at this time. Also, if you are making a template, it's best to start working on it in your userspace until it's complete. Once it is, you can move it, or have an administrator move it, to the mainspace. If you have any questions please contact me. Thank you. --Pokemaster97 00:18, 25 December 2016 (UTC)

I make a template of Professor Oak's Pokémon. It's on my user page. --Lockheedpryde (talk) 00:45, 25 December 2016 (UTC)

Notability requirements for anime Pokémon

Hi there. Please read the notability requirements (and abide by them) before creating pages for anime Pokémon. On a similar note, templates for anime characters' Pokémon should not be created unless at least two Pokémon belonging to that character have their own pages. --Carmen (Talk | contribs) 17:13, 29 December 2016 (UTC)

Userspace limits

Users are allowed three edits to their userspace per day granted that they make more edits to the mainspace than their userspace. You've made eight edits to your user page since your last mainspace edit; please don't edit your user page any more until you've made more edits to the mainspace. glikglak 19:45, 5 January 2017 (UTC)

Userspace editing

Once again, it appears that you have gone over the userspace limit by making a total of 2 userspace edits today. Please keep in mind that the userspace editing limit is no more than three edits per day (by UTC), with the requirement of making at least one more constructive mainspace edit than userspace edits you make. Continued violations of the userspace policy may result in your userspace privileges being revoked. Thank you. --Tiddlywinks (talk) 18:08, 16 January 2017 (UTC)

Jessie's Shellder

Can I ask why you copied my page word for word and put it up as your own? I'm fine with the page being mainspaced, but I think it was wrong of you to steal what I wrote and ignore the page you could have just moved.--Rahl (talk) 04:26, 27 January 2017 (UTC)

I did not know it was forbidden. Sorry.--Lockheedpryde (talk) 04:28, 27 January 2017 (UTC)
It's not necessarily forbidden. I just think it would be better to move a page from the userspace into the mainspace instead of copying it over. Just try to avoid it for next time.--Rahl (talk) 04:31, 27 January 2017 (UTC)
Please don't just create anime Pokémon articles, especially temporary Pokémon that have redirects. They are redirected for a reason. Shellder literally did nothing but make a Slowpoke evolve, so it's not notable for its own article.--ForceFire 04:32, 27 January 2017 (UTC)

Userspace restrictions

Yet again, it appears that you have gone over the userspace limit by making a total of 6 userspace edits today. Once again, the userspace editing limit is no more than three edits per day (by UTC), with the requirement of making at least one more constructive mainspace edit than userspace edits you make. Continued violations of the userspace policy will result in your userspace privileges being revoked. This is your final warning. --Tiddlywinks (talk) 11:10, 31 January 2017 (UTC)

Lillie's Vulpix

Can I ask why you decided to make a page anyway even though I had been preparing one already? Lillie hasn't captured Vulpix yet, and we don't know if she'll do it in the next or some other episode.-- --Handmaiden 101 (tAlk) 19:13, 2 February 2017 (UTC)

I don't know you preparing this page, i discovered later.--Lockheedpryde (talk) 19:16, 2 February 2017 (UTC)
That's okay, it was a mistake. Also like I said before, we have to wait until Lillie captures it before we main space it, that goes for everything else.-- --Handmaiden 101 (tAlk) 19:28, 2 February 2017 (UTC)
You seem to have had various problems with creating Pokemon pages without sufficient reason. I don't want to browbeat you, so I'll just say for now, try to keep in mind your mistakes and try to avoid them in the future. Handmainden 101's point about waiting for episodes to air is also a very good one.
I'll also advise you, give good thought to making use of your userspace better. Instead of jumping straight to making something in the mainspace, you may wish to create it in your userspace first and then talk to a staff member. Doing that may help you get a better feel for what we need and when, without making the same mistakes.
Thanks. Tiddlywinks (talk) 19:38, 2 February 2017 (UTC)

Hello. Since this is the fourth time that you've made an unnotable anime article in the mainspace, you have been blocked for a week. Please don't just create an article for an anime Pokémon in the mainspace, put it in your userspace first and the staff will decide whether it's notable or not. Lillie's Vulpix may be notable in the future, but not now since it has literally done nothing. Thank you.--ForceFire 04:15, 3 February 2017 (UTC)

Bonnie's Pokemon

Please don't add your proposed templates onto the mainspace until it has been approved by the staff. Bonnie is not a trainer and Dedenne is technically not her's, so she does not need a template. Thank you.--ForceFire 05:03, 28 February 2017 (UTC)

Again, please don't move templates to the mainspace without staff permission. Thanks. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 01:42, 25 June 2017 (UTC)

Blocked, again

Because of your history of moving userpages to the mainspace without permission, you have been blocked for three days. And because of your history, your userpages have been move protected indefinitely, meaning you have to ask a staff member to move your userpage. Thank you.--ForceFire 07:40, 25 June 2017 (UTC)

Please don't just blatantly ignore hidden warning I placed on Jigglypuff's page. It's type was not explicitly stated or shown to be part Fairy, simply appearing in an episode means nothing at all. Thank you.--ForceFire 05:09, 27 September 2017 (UTC)

Final warning

As you have demonstrated again, you clearly cannot refrain yourself from making unnecessary templates on the mainspace. If you want to make a template, make it on the userspace. This is your final warning about this, if you continue to make any more unneeded templates in the mainsapce, you will be moved on.--ForceFire 04:04, 8 October 2017 (UTC)

Templates, again

It appears that you've made an unapproved template in the mainspace once again. If you want to suggest a template, make it in your userspace first, you;ve been told this one too many times. You should already get the point. I've already moved the template to your userspace.--ForceFire 02:59, 1 April 2018 (UTC)

Since your last warning above, you have not truly followed the userspace policy. You've mostly made less than three edits to your userpage on any given day; but you're also required to make edits to the mainspace whenever you make userspace edits (in the same day), and this you far too often have completely been ignoring.

Consider this truly your final warning. If you break the userspace policy again, your privileges will be revoked. I'll copy the relevant portions here so it's entirely plain:

  • at most three userspace edits per person per day, AND
  • at least one more mainspace edit than userspace per person per day.

Creating new Pokémon pages

New Pokémon pages must be created with {{NewPokémon}}. --Abcboy (talk) 00:03, 5 September 2019 (UTC)

Pelipper belongs to Team Rocket, so it can't be listed as a "Recurring wild Pokémon". --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 11:21, 14 January 2020 (UTC)

Go's Scyther

I see you've created your own page for Go's Scyther, trouble is I've already started work on one. Feel free to assist where possible--BigDocFan (talk) 17:03, 19 January 2020 (UTC)

Userspace edits

Hello, I have noticed that of the 35 edits you've made this year, only two of them have been mainspace edits. This is not acceptable, the userspace should not be your main priority on Bulbapedia. You have mainly stuck to no more than three userspace edits per day, but your mainspace edits must outnumber your userspace edits per day, and there are plenty of mainspace articles you could edit. If you continue to prioritize the userspace over the mainspace, you will be placed in abuse. Thank you.--ForceFire 07:26, 19 July 2021 (UTC)
