About the custom sprites

We've actually already argued long and hard about this. But the consensus is, right now at least, that as long as the sprite's don't detract from the articles at all (i.e., as long as they aren't blatantly ugly), there's no reason not to have them. True, they don't really add anything, but neither do things like colors or curved borders in the templates. It's just something to add a little visual variety and appeal to the 'pedia. I understand how you feel; I just wanted to let you know what the status quo was, before some zealot came and chewed you out. --((Marton imos)) 23:55, 18 January 2009 (UTC)

Forums

On the left side of the screen, there is a menu that says "Navigation." Click on the link that says Bulbawiki forum (it's the fourth one down from the top) and you'll be there. Hope this helps. --PAK Man ^Talk 00:24, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

Signature

Ah..so you need help with signatures? Well, first, go to my preferences, then check the box that says Raw signatures (without automatic link and in the box above it, put in the code for your signature. But remember, Bulbapedia does not allow pictures in them. So I have made a signature for you, which you could use to tweak to make you own customized signature:

Don't worry

These users are incorrectly misinformed, there isn't a limit anymore, but that doesn't mean you can go crazy about it. Keep mainspace contributions up, and keep userspace edits to a minuimum. ^Maverick _Nate 16:27, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

What they mean is this- you have made only one (1) contribution to the mainspace; the mainspace being articles like Pokémon and Ash. Basically, an article that is informative. I, for instance, use Bulbapedia for gaming help, learning about the members of the Elite Four so that I can beat them easilly. Most, if not all people that use Bulbapedia and are not Users do not look at User:, User talk: and Talk: pages. These pages, while beneficial, do not make Bulbapedia a Pokémon encyclopedia. When you go to someone's talk page to say that you are sorry for making too many talk page contributions, you are making a talk page contribution. To be an active member of the community, you need to make contributions to the mainspace. I hope I made everything a little but clearer to you. Userspace policy and Talk abuse are the two that you seem to be having troubles with. Read over them, and then look through all the links in you welcome template. --freezingCOLD _{(page, talk)} 21:40, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

Okay. If the title of a page (this one being User talk:Landfish7) starts with a namespace definer (this one being User talk:) then don't edit it for a while. I felt this was needed

I pardoned and removed the above warnings. I feel that they have been misguided, misleading, and very unfair. It is your first days, and the discussions and people have been very misleading towards you. I feel like you deserve a clean slate and now that the above warnings have been voided, I am giving you one. If you edit more main informative pages, people are less likely to yell at you, and I think that you haven't deserved the above ones. You are allowed to edit any talk space or your own userpage. You aren't in trouble, we just want you to add or edit something to the main pages with info in order for you to gain these priviledges. That's why these people were yelling at you. ^Maverick _Nate 20:05, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

Pokeballs

The correct spelling of "Pokeball" is Poké Ball (plural: Poké Balls). If you don't know how to make é, it's ALT+0233 on a PC. Alternatively, use the character palette below for é and other special characters. - esp eonA 00:58, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

link templates

USE THEM!!! I'm not an adminisrator, but when I saw that you linked to "Stunky" instead of "Stunky (Pokémon)" it made me think that you need a notice. to link to "Stunky (Pokémon)", The easiest way is to type {{p|Stunky}} when editing your page. You can find other link templates at the List of link templates. Remember to use them as much as possible or you will get yelled at by an administrater (Trust me, I've been there).

Wikipedia

WP:CHU; keep in mind that they will not let you do this unless you have a substantial amount of edits. A lot of the time, new-ish users are just told to create a new account. I don't know how many edits you have, so I don't know if this applies. — THE TROM — 02:35, 27 February 2009 (UTC)

Dratini

Please don't go inserting false information like you did on Dratini δ (EX Dragon Frontiers 46)‎. That piece of trivia was wrong. Dratini is normally Dragon-type in the video games, not Water-type. Furthermore, even if that piece of trivia had accurate information, it was still not notable trivia for inclusion in the article. --Shiningpikablu252 01:17, 13 May 2009 (UTC)

Signature policy

I hope that Cyndaquil image you used on User talk:TTEchidna/DawnPoké wasn't part of a signature you coded into your preferences, because if it is, it's a violation of the signature policy. The signature policy states that signatures are to be text-only. If that Cyndaquil's hard-coded into your preferences, hard-code it out of them or you could be in deep trouble. --Shiningpikablu252 15:38, 28 September 2009 (UTC)
