I was looking through the ROM data, and realized something. While looking at the back sprites, I noticed that they were off-center, vertically. I then started looking through the data structures in an attempt to locate where they stored the sprite offset, only to find that it wasn't actually stored in the data structures, according to the wiki. So, that brings up a new question: how do the GBA games store the vertical offset of the back sprites? I don't usually have the time to dig around like this, so I decided to bring the question to you, since it deserves an answer. Glitchfinder 20:56, 25 April 2010 (UTC)

Yawai, actually. You're as good as Meowth346 in researching Pokémon Games. But Mewoth 346 is dead, kinda. So, YOU are currently the best Pokémon Game Researcher. Well, Peter O. from UPC is good, too. But you're still my hero. --Maxim 19:59, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
Awwwww shucks dude. --Kyoufu Kawa 20:05, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

Do you have a linux or unix console of any type, or access to gcc? Do you know C? Any interest in preparing Gen 3 Pokemon file utilities using the discovered data structures? I'm considering it seriously as VBA's linking seriously sucks (it worked for 90 or so seconds once, never again. Never got a trade thru, only made it thru the doors and into that one room exactly once...). At the very least I want to complete a dump viewing utility that is compatible with Pokscii or whatever they are calling that character set.Iliekmudkips 23:48, 26 September 2007 (UTC)

I got through the doors and into the room several times successfully using VBALink. I use GCC to make an opensource imitation of Gen 3. I call the Pokémon character set by no specific name. Your turn. --Kyoufu Kawa 18:14, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
Yay! You found my secret page! You are now officially cursed to be my friend. Fwawawawawa!--Tavisource 23:12, 3 October 2008 (UTC)

Also, don't write down that you have credit for it. It's shown in the history. Thanks. ht14 18:37, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
