Please

Slow down on editing the User: namespace. There are only three userspace edits allowed per day, and you have gone over the limit. Editing your userpage too much will lead to it being locked again. Instead of making multiple small edits, why not instead use the preview button (Alt + Shift + P) to check your edits before saving the page? Please note that this userspace edit limit policy also applies to to User subpages such as User:HTMLCODER.exe/Goodies‎. Thank you.  — Laoris (Blah) 18:37, 30 November 2008 (UTC)

Okay, sorry fireball in your face 19:17, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
And, on a somewhat related note, your Signature has to have your user name in it. I made the same mistake... The Dark Fiddler - Smarter than the average bear! 19:20, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
Like this? HTMLCODER.exe@bulbapedia$_ /usr/bin/apache2 -k restart 19:33, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
As far as I know, that works. The Dark Fiddler - Smarter than the average bear! 19:36, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
Wait, no it doesn't. Pictures aren't allowed. The Dark Fiddler - Smarter than the average bear! 19:37, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
Come on? I've seen quite many users with a pair of pics in their sigs..., for example, Groudon465. Or is it "the unfriendly community elite members-only stuff?"
Actually, the latest comment on Groudon's talk page was warning him of that. The no images rule is somewhat new, and the new signature doesn't replace your old signature if your old signature was already there. If you see them with images, they might be from before the rule was enacted. The Dark Fiddler - Smarter than the average bear! 19:43, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
Oh. --HTMLCODER.exe@bulbapedia$_ /usr/bin/apache2 -k restart 19:45, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
That should work now, but if you want to look it over, here is the signature policy. I really should have given you that first... My bad. The Dark Fiddler - Smarter than the average bear! 19:46, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
By the way, since you're here, how do you color text in wiki-markup? Like, green text on black background? --HTMLCODER.exe@bulbapedia$_ /usr/bin/apache2 -k restart 19:48, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
I don't think there's a way to do that with wikicode. You might have to throw a <span style="color: green; background-color: black">...</span> around your text. — Laoris (Blah) 19:51, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
As far as I know, wikicode doesn't provide a text color / text bg color functionality. You have to use HTML tags (<font> tags with a color property for the text color, or <span> tags with a style property for both the text color and text bg color. Please search from other sources for additional details on HTML coding (though I could guess that you're fairly skilled when it comes to computers, based on your sig text). Lovely. By the way, yeh, I guess I am somewhat skilled... And not only in HTML and bash shell. --HTMLCODER.exe@bulbapedia$_ /usr/bin/apache2 -k restart 20:43, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
By the way, <font> tags are evil and deprecated for years ago. Go, <span>! HTMLCODER.exe@bulbapedia$_ /usr/bin/apache2 -k restart 19:50, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
Well, you're not supposed to use style attributes inline either, but we don't have a lot choice on a wiki. — Laoris (Blah) 19:59, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, all styles should be defined, then referred to by class, id or tag name. But, still the <font> tag is really evil, and is really deprecated a long ago. Inline styles are AFAIK still valid, but, we have no choice, so we use them. HTMLCODER.exe@bulbapedia$_ /usr/bin/apache2 -k restart 20:11, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
True, <font> is evil. Though, it's easier to use in a wiki signature since it doesn't fill that signature field character limit as much as <span> does:
<font color="#00ff00"> - 22 characters
<span style="color:#00ff00"> - 29 characters (if one uses the most compact formatting)
I think you got my point. UltimateSephiroth (about me · chat · edits) 18:30, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

Talk page comments

Hi there. Sarcastic comments such as these are unhelpful and can be viewed as unfriendly, especially on "stale" discussions like the one in the example. Please keep comment like these to an absolute minimum. Thank you, and enjoy your editing. — THE TROM — 06:19, 6 December 2008 (UTC)

Ouch. Well, the other two weren't particularly helpful either. The one was asking what a HP Up does, while someone else responds "It makes the HP go UP". Now that was helpful.HTMLCODER.exe@bulbapedia$_ /usr/bin/apache2 -k restart 06:28, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, some people really aren't smart. But that doesn't mean we have to stoop to their level. Play it cool, k? — THE TROM — 06:30, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
K, d00d. HTMLCODER.exe@bulbapedia$_ /usr/bin/apache2 -k restart 06:32, 6 December 2008 (UTC)

Pardon the geekery/brief non-wiki-related comment...

...but I love your signature. 8D 梅子 14:55, 9 April 2010 (UTC)

Hey, thanks xD HTMLCODER.exe@bulbapedia$_ /usr/bin/apache2 -k restart 16:08, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
