Welcome to Bulbapedia, Glalie Power!

By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

The Preview Button

Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Changes button... Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Thanks! --Werdnae (talk) 07:16, 18 January 2011 (UTC)

Look

Just don't add anymore nonsense. And check your spelling and grammar. You should sue whoever taught you english. Seriously. Don't take it as an insult, you're not editing for your own self, you're doing it for all Bulbapedia. In fact all editors here are doing it for Bulbapedia.----DJWolfy 08:04, 9 April 2012 (UTC)

DJ, I know you are frustrated with his edits, but you must still obey the Code of Conduce. Telling someone to sue whoever taught them English isn't nice. Anyway, Glalie Power, a few tips:
  • Pokémon. With a capital P and an accented e (which can be done by holding ALT and clicking 0233 on the number pad.
  • Periods. Always add them at the end of a sentence.
  • Make sure you use the preview button to ensure there are no spelling or grammar mistakes.
  • You cannot remove comments off your talk page.

Thank you for reading.--ForceFire 08:10, 9 April 2012 (UTC)

Response

I will try to be more gramatically correct and to be fair I never do edit anything major, just triva and adding missing parts to articles and to force thank you for the tips. --Glalie Power 08:14, 9 April 2012 (UTC)

Link templates

Great Job for the complete section ! Still, remember to use correct link templates such as {{Ash}} instead of [[Ash]] or {{an|May}} when refering to May from anime instead of [[anime|May]] (the same applies for others who have an anime counterpart and have a page of their own). Also, Ash's Pokémon should be linked like this {{AP|Pokémon}}. For a more complete list check this List of link templates.----DJWolfy 17:35, 12 May 2012 (UTC)

Also, when adding new information, the incomplete tag should be removed after the information was added. And the section should be ==Personality and characteristics== instead of == Personality and Characteristics == for consistency.----DJWolfy 17:40, 12 May 2012 (UTC)

Signature.

Sir/madam, your signature breaks a rule of signature policy. Signatures must reflect a user's actual username, in part or in whole. - Your current signature, breaks that rule, as it says OmaceHERO here and here. Marked +-+-+ (talk) 12:32, 12 July 2012 (UTC)

Serperior

If someone reverts your edit for a 'valid' reason, there is no need to revert it back if the earlier version is not true/incorrect. You reverted it back to its incorrect version just to prove your point that you were editing it, which is not how you should be doing it. If you were planning on fixing it, you could have simply saved the modified/fixed version, instead of undoing it completely and then re-editing it. Also, please use the preview button to make sure that whatever you are editing, is indeed valid. Regarding your comment, "i was re editing it to make it correct wait before you intstantly take doen someone's edits", as an administrator, it is my job to remove untrue/false information from the articles. So, please be careful in the future. AdynizWanna talk? 15:57, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
