Hi, Ein. I can answer your question about the Bulbagarden Archives. Believe me, you're not the first person who's asked about why account creation is disabled there right now.
We recently had a problem user make a nuisance of themself over an anime screenshot related issue. The user used fake accounts to avoid their block, and then used proxies to avoid their IP block. For the time being, the archives is having a cool-off period, during which we're trying to make it very clear what Bulbapedia policy approves and disapproves of, and during which the problem user will hopefully either realize the trouble they've caused or at least lose interest in the squabble. At the very least, it gives those of us who have to help clean up those messes a break.
If you have a large number of notably useful images which you plan to upload, I would contact Zhen Lin about if there's any chance you can get an account. However, if it's only a few, I will sometimes upload images for users who have no accounts or have other problems using the archives. Sorry about the trouble. --Pie 23:18, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
