Please categorize all articles you make. Additionally, fit articles to their project page. Seed Flare should look something like Vine Whip.

Also, please consolidate your edits, and use the preview button. It reduces load on the server. --TTEchidna 23:41, 24 March 2007 (UTC)

Sorry

No, no, it's okay. Just remember to do it next time, all right? --TTEchidna 01:29, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

Templates

Bulbapedia:Project Routes should go over all of the templates you need. Reading that article should let you know how to use the templates, too. From your contribs it looks like you might be interested in Bulbapedia:Project Cities and Towns, too. Drapion 21:01, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

Link templates

Try to use them, okay? It helps so that the correct pages are linked: Bug may simply redirect to Bug, but Fighting is a disambiguation for Fighting and Fighting, which are pretty different.

I noticed you used them on the Pokémon, so that's good. Just make sure to use them for every purpose they exist for, ie, type, routes, moves, and so on. And be on the lookout, some, like types and routes have two of them. For example, {{rt}} makes the link to Route 123 as "Route 123", while {{rtn}} makes it as just the number. Likewise, {{t}} makes "Bug", but {{type}} makes "Bug-type" appear.

Just don't get down because I'm telling you this. It's a wiki, it's in the past, we can fix it. That's the wonder of Web 2.0.

And try not to talk directly to readers, too. Use "the player" or "trainers" or other such words. It makes things look better, overall. --TTEchidna 22:41, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

Okay. So these are called links? I read the manual on how to start, but its still pretty confusing. Thanks for the help. I will be sure to remember that. Oh, and are there some things that have higher priority than others? Because if theres something more important than me doing the routes or towns, then i can do it.

Nah, they're link templates: templates that create links, as opposed to infobox templates, which make infoboxes (like {{RouteInfo}}), or navbox templates, which make navboxes (like {{Sinnoh}}). You can find the different link templates here, the infoboxes here, and the navbox templates here.

And believe me, we need those route/town/location articles. You're doing a pretty damn good job on them, too, though they'll certainly need to be expanded eventually. They will, though, in time, once everyone has DP.

Oh, and you oughta sign your name when leaving comments on talk pages, so everyone knows who made the comment. Just put four tildes (that's ~~~~) and it'll appear as your username, or whatever else you've put in the signature box on your preferences page. And if you're looking to get some sort of interesting design to it, well, just gimme a heads-up on my own talk page and I'll be glad to help you out, or you could IM me or something. --TTEchidna 01:08, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for all the help. Right now, all I'm doing is putting in the pokemon that you can find there and other stuff. Nothing major! At least, thats a start. Darkphantom 10:44, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

Thank you for all of your hard work. Carnivine

Just make sure to spell "Pokémon" right, the accented e matters: it's in the character palette at the bottom of the edit box if you can't use the Alt code. --TTEchidna 22:33, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

Sinnoh Route maps

Where'd you get the one for 211? It looks quite good, a much better stand-in for the to-be-made route maps, which will eventually be in the same style as the other ones. --TTEchidna 23:01, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

I got it for other ones too. I just surfed for it on Google. . . Darkphantom

Abilities

Umm, do you realize you're creating new pages for abilities that already exist under their japanese name? You're supposed to move the existing article to the new name, not create a new article... Am I missing something here???--ElectAbuzzzz 21:41, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

OMG REALLY! I DIDN'T KNOW!!! lol! I'll stop . . .

Pokémon availability on routes

Could you not put their types, most especially in just the plain old double brackets? Look what Psychic links to.

If you want to put the Pokémon's type, use the {{t}} template, so that you can make ANY of the seventeen types link right to the type. Psychic. That way you don't get someone who is looking for the type going after the Psychic move. --TTEchidna 21:29, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

I did that on the later ones, just not the earlier ones. You can check. . . Darkphantom 22:28, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

Okay. I just don't think there's very much need for their types there, anyway... I mean, if someone doesn't know what type they are, then they can just click on the link. --TTEchidna
