Welcome to Bulbapedia, DarkSonicPT!

By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Portuguese names

Bulbapedia only includes official names in other languages. Since you have been adding Portuguese names for games that have not been released in Portuguese, I am assuming none of the Portuguese names you have added are official. Please discontinue adding them. If you do have an official source you are using when adding Portuguese names, please include it in your edit summary. --SnorlaxMonster 02:23, 2 June 2016 (UTC)

Hi. Was wondering from where the official Portuguese name for Super Mystery Dungeon stems? --Raltseye prata med mej 14:58, 1 May 2019 (UTC)
Skill must've been something else since they don't appear in that game ;) --Raltseye prata med mej 23:42, 2 May 2019 (UTC)
Please explain what your source for the Portuguese names you're adding is. If you continue to add Portuguese names without explaining where they are coming from, you will be blocked again and your edits reverted. You've had three years to respond to this question, which is plenty of time. --SnorlaxMonster 23:57, 3 May 2019 (UTC)
Allow me to add some clarification: In many cases you've included a tool tip specifying which game it came from. That's fine, but it hasn't been the case for all of your edits, and you can't just choose to ignore these messages on your talk page and continue adding more Portuguese names. --SnorlaxMonster 00:09, 4 May 2019 (UTC)
Responding to your email here: What seems to have happened is I came across a single instance in which you added a Portuguese name without providing a source, glanced at the edit summaries of your recent contributions and didn't see any sources provided in those, and jumped to a bit of a conclusion based on that and your refusal to answer multiple requests placed on your talk page. The vast majority of the time you specify your source in the content of the edit, which is perfectly fine.
Please familiarize yourself with how to use talk pages, as it is necessary skill to be able to edit Bulbapedia. They're pretty easy to use, and the page Bulbapedia:Talk page policy gives you an easy explanation of how to use them. Please respond on this talk page (using the talk page itself—do not email me instead) to let me know that you have read and understood these messages, then feel free to continue adding Portuguese names (as long as you continue to provide the source as you usually have been doing). --SnorlaxMonster 14:18, 4 May 2019 (UTC)
